Hello fellow swordies. Currently I am a Sw1,Pelt2,Cata1, Squire1. I was originally going for a full con tank, but the soloing was so absymally slow I thought I would pick up Cata 1 for some dps and extra stats from mounting the companion. This was my first char and I had made this even before I even heard of that site with the skill builder.
It was fine for tanking dungeons up to around 130ish when the dungeons became so long, my equipment would turn red even before the dungeon was halfway finished and that is without even dying. That is why I picked up squire 1. It was fine enough to just fix my own gear, so Im rather ok with that choice but the problem is where can I go from here? Do i trudge on to squire 3 and then forget about it? Or do I go up to Cata 3 and then go dragoon at rank 8? Or get another rank of peltasta for armor break. Maybe Pelt3, and then Fencer 1?
Generally, I am looking for any way to save this toon within 2 circles as I am already rank 5.
with squire 1 circle, there is not a lot you can do, you will simply be worse than everybody else in pvp and pve.
i would roll squire 3 to open shop or just reroll.
like razm said, u can go squire 3 just for shop. sry but this build can’t be saved =/

I would agree not to lose hope in your toon yet as what haukinyau said. If you are playing casually you can go what he suggested or you can visit the simulator at tosbase and see what progression you liked the most.
I dont have any suggestion because I myself is still in progress of finalizing my build even if I`m already lvl 161.
If you are enjoying the game I bet you this is not the last character you will create. Theorycraft and enjoy, TOS is a game where everyone is encouraged to experiment.
PS. You have Pelt 1 so you should not have any problem finding party on higher level is what I’ve heard.
Well, I am open to anything really. I am not fixed on having to be mounted, nor am I fixated on only using shield skills. Since I only have 2 circles remaining, I think I might need some circles that can stand on their own without a lot of prep? Statwise, I went 1:2:1 for Str:Con:dex so I am sitting around 21k hp at level 153.
I think I would need a class that can stand on it’s own at rank 7 with only 1 circle of prep for it at rank 6. Can a shinobi do that? Maybe something like Corsair at rank 6, and Shinobi at rank 7? I am a little hesitant on dragoon because I am just not sure it will work without Cata3, or at least hoplite 2.
I’m pretty relaxed player, not too interested in GvG nor earth tower, I only started because I wanted to see the classes the game had to offer. It would be enough to just be able to do most dungeons.

If im at your shoes, i’ll go straight Cat3 just not to waste the 2 circle of Peltasta and once you hit your desired HP and Dex just put everything else in STR.
If only someone can confirm that pelt skills will not unmount you, then it should be good.
Its not too late. Make it onto squire c3. Then make some more silvers!!hehe

ok but once u want to play more serious at higher level u will be weaker than most of doppel builds, cmon i can make a full int swordsman if i want, but ill end up rerolling
ur build would be better sword3>high1>barb1>doppel just for cyclone + restrain combo… u can still do it, but restrain lvl 5 isnt that good, and barb 2 isnt that good too

The only thing you mess up is that cata1 XD if only you get pelt3 then you are still good… the only way to save it was go squire3 for money making purposes.
no you cannot solo 230+ with any build, that’s not true at all
a full con chrono can’t, a full con peltasta c3 squire 3 can’t (he just deals no damage)
I wont be sure about that. I am a pelt c3 and squire c3. I can solo alemeth. Lol. Just takes more time to kill though. But with a +10 catacombs blade. It is easier lol.
eventually you will be tired to kill 3-4 mobs every 5 minutes by yourself. im pretty sure you didnt solo alemeth or evac.
