Need help on what class to pick next

Good day everyone,

My current progress is now at Swordsman C1 > Peltasta C1 > Hoplite C2. I like to role play as a dual-wielding spear and dagger type.

I can’t decide if I should go Hoplite C3 or leave it at Hoplite C2 then go Cataphract C3. Also thinking about leaving it to Hoplite C2 then go Corsair C2, but isn’t using Dual Weapon Assault a chore? Because I use controller while playing.

Can you guys help me out on what to pick better? I’m at Lv.80 with stats distribution of 50 DEX | 30 CON and rest is to STR until I feel like I need more CON at later levels.

Swordsman -> Peltasta -> Hoplite 3 -> X -> Dragoon 2

This is my original plan, X being Doppel as I keep reading that Cyclone is a great AoE skill.

But is it worth it to go Hoplite C3? If ever I’ll stick to Hoplite C2, what do you think is a great alternative class to take?

Hoplite c3 is really strong. Spear throw right now is amazing.
Hits 3 times and has no cooldown. At 170 with geras spear it becomes phenomenal.
Doppel is picked for deeds of valor and not for cyclone 5, since at 5 it is meh (but you do take both, so)

Another build that was used in the past is sw1 pelt1 hop2 cor2 dragoon.

Because of hexxen dropper doing crazy good damage, but it is now sub par

Is Spear Throw insta-cast now? I’m doubting going Hoplite C3 because in the ToSBase site it has a very long casting time.

I guess I’ll go Hoplite C3 then take Doppel for Deeds of Valor as you said. Since It will compliment with Finestra at Lv.15 I guess.

Spear Throw still has a slow animation, but it does a triple hit and has nice damage making it a great filler.

Thanks for the sample. But won’t my auto-attack be better as a filler compared to that delay? I’m using Cafrisun Set and Arde Dagger. Or Spear Throw is better?

Spear Throw is significantly better. You’ll easily be doing 12000+ damage a throw in the late game.
