i am C2 swordman and C1 hoplite right now. the reason why i didnt go to peltasta because i wanna be 2 handed spear later on and maximize my offensive. am gonna be dragoon on my rank 7 but i need help on my rank 4 5 6. which is the best 2 handed spear build for me BTW i am currently building full STR
1st option: hoplite C2 -> hoplite C3 -> cataphract C1
2nd option: hoplite C2 -> catapharct C1 -> cataphract C2
3rd option: cataphract C1 -> C2 -> C3

remember that there is a quick switch button, it’s as simple as swash buck switch to 2H spear, I’m using 2H sword atm and that’s what im doing…
but if you want swordsman c2 nothing will stop you.
For your choices IMO hoplite is better for pve purposes, cata a bit more on pvp
