Need help, ba2 dop3 build suggestion

I know the doppel meta is sw1 hi3 ba1 dop3 shi1.

highlander seems to beat barbarian in bossing
and barbarian beat highlander in mob & farm.

but i wanna play ba2 for “seism” skill with doppel (ba2 dop3)
it will fit with character that i love in my favorite novel.

i think i will build like this.

  1. sw1 hi2 ba2 dop3 shinobi
    bunshin: crown+molinet, seism, sturt + swarch
    have highlander crit dmg attribute and bar2

but idk bunshin clone dmg is bad or good

  1. sw1 hi1 ba3 dop3
    i want only ba2 but i don’t know is ba3 still worth?
    lv.10 Seism seems great but i don’t like pouncing and giant swing

C3 attribute seems great but idk is it good when use it

att : Warcry: Debuff Duration

Increases duration of all Barbarian debuffs by 1 second per attribute level when affected by the [Warcry] debuff

att : Frenzy: Maintain Stacks

Maintains the stacks from [Frenzy] when switching to another target, but the maximum amount of stacks is reduced by half

    love this simple build buff then go!
    lv.15 in gungho, pain barrier and concentrate
    but no additional 50% crit dmg from highlander (no synergy with cleave)

Normally you build this:

Sword 3 > Barb 2 > Doppel 3 > Shinobi

Don’t put barb 3, it’s really lacking atm, the only thing you have it going for is cleave extend.

Since you like seism, it’s locked at barb 2.
It’s a beast in CM but a bit weaker for bosses.

your main doppel skills are:
Redel+Zornahu

trash mob killers/filler:
Cyclone/Punish

Bunshin skills:
Sturtzhau, Mordschlag

You may choose to use Zwerch in and out of bunshin. Out of bunshin means it has less CD and can be used more with Redel and Zornhau. In Bunshin means stronger bunshin skills.

I do not recommend using it with bunshin when dealing with harder content.

A good bunshin combo (for CM/tough group of stunnable monsters) is to start with seism then do cleave > whatever you want. Stronger mobs means chain with zwer then use sturtz or double slash.

reset and go for sw1 high 1 barb 3, the buffs from barb 3 are far the best for doppel

Can’t imagine playing Dop3 without Sword3, especially now that Gazing Golem doesn’t override itself anymore (duration has to finish before any proc chances triggers again). Maxed P. Barrier does wonders for a button-smashing DPS build, most especially with Shinobi.

It’s only doable with a chrono support using ROP.

I can’t reset to HL3 because I have only one chrono friend in my guild and it isn’t on my doppel team but on my falc

pain barrier is not so usefull when you have gazing golem or a good party with linkrunecaster.
for selfcontent you can outdps mobs/bosses with doppel and don’t need more than pain barrier lv5 to do that.

losing frenzy and warcry lvl10, barb3 passive buffs otherway is far more important.

when you have something like a +16 stage 10 weap it makes a real difference on the dmg.

highlander is overrated but you need his crit passive from 1 rank and you can’t go barb 3 earlier so it fits better than sw2.
i think you still don’t do more damage than a good dragoon but doppel is a fair dps for most content, except you need a truck of mana with you.

Level 10 frenzy is nice, but you don’t need the attackspeed that long.

You won’t have a lot of time to AA either speciall with a diev/chrono.

Level 10 warcry for the damage isn’t that great either.
You can have both warcry lv5+gungho level 19 with monster gem is nearly 600 PA.

It’s supposed to be 600 PA, but I’m not rolling on full str cards and my monster gem is unused

A big loss here is the crit passive from HL and cleave extend which you won’t get. But when we’re talking about PA, gungho alone gives a lot, and you don’t need any specifics to get the best PA.

Warcry you need to wait for boss to spawn traps/have friends spawn IW, frenzy you need to charge, etc.

aside from that, you also get double slash which is a very good bunshin skill and restrain, which is great for mobbing, exactly which threat starter wants.
