Its something that should have been in the game to begin with. No mmo these days can release without a need/greed loot system.
This issue is only further bolstered by the caps on 1:1 trade and the current redesign wont help either (making users able to trade class specific items ONLY!?).
This results in situations such as me and my friends farming an item for collectibles. We are 3 so we need 3 items.
One of my pals manages to get 4 pieces of said less than 0.X% drop. Then i got 2, then finally the third one of us found one.
So instead of 3 items we need, we were forced to farm 7 of them because there is no trading, there is no need/greed looting, there is nothing.
This is so ridiculous that it replaces the current text book definition of the word.
Just idiotic. Especially here in tree of “you dont get to use any standard features any other mmo has because we are battling bots here”.
Should rename to Tree vs Bots. At least then the name would represent the game accurately.
TL;DR:
- All drops need a colour indicator based on their drop chance. Not just weapons/recipes. Orange, purple, blue, white.
- Need/greed loot rule needs to be implemented
- Need/greed should work on ALL items based on their rarity/colour code.
Basic feature. Do it.
