Hi Im a Level 98 Cataphract and so far The AOE IS SO GREAT
My Current stats are 80 str 92 Dex 13 con
I mainly put 1:1 Str:Dex
When do I stop putting stats on dex? Do I have to put CON in my build?
I mainly aim for PVP-PVE
I am Sword3 Cata 1 at lvl 92 right now. I am going 1:1:1 Str Con Dex for a purely PVP char
curently 246 as a sword 2, cata 3, dragoon… stats are as follow for PvP: 344/72/4/12/80. So far it’s been great in pvp.

Is that pure stats or stats + bonus from gears?
Pure stats mostly… I have at most 2 or 3 added points from sets
I’m a lvl 123 Cat, I went SW>Pelt>Pelt>Cat, Will be going Cat3 and either Dragoon or Templar, not sure yet.
At the moment I have 100STR, 72 Con and 40-50DEX (Not sure, not logged in.)
Seems to be doing great. I’m mostly tanking in dungeons. Pull large mobs, tank them till they are about half HP and switch into my 2h and just AoE the hell out of everything. My goal is to do pvp and party lvling while still being able to solo.
Am pumping DEX right now, will leave Con for what it is and focus on DEX/STR.
Lv 193 Cata here, my build is Pelt C1 - Hop C1 - Cata - C3, i got 300+ Str (Because of Brandish) 50 Con and 70 Dex my doubt here was more Con to be more tanky or Dex to crit more. So i came to the conclusion that 70 points in Dex is more than enough to get crits. Why ? Because you can get a lot of crit rate from gems, equipment and Finestra if you got Hoplite in your build (If you don’t, consider putting some more points in Dex). Let me give you a example of how much crit rate i currently have, i got 70 from my dex, 50 from finestra, 44 from the gems in my spear, 28 (i don’t remember the number exactly but it’s around that) from the gem in my shield and 37 from Sissel Bracelet. So that’s 229 crit rate, so from now on i will be getting Con and some Str, i hope this help

How much damage do you do using Brandish?
Any plans on using 2 hand Spear for later levels?
Depends on the mob size on Large and Bosses deal around 1000-1100 with a normal attack 2200-2300 when i crit, on Medium i deal around 700-800 and 1900-2000 crit and Small i deal 600-700 1800-1900 crit. I don’t have access to any good 2h spear atm (Elements is kinda meh) and i can’t taunt/block using a 2h spear so i think i will use brandish + a good shield (Pavaisa, Ledas or Otrava) for a long time.
What about your Crit Rate? And Accuracy? Don’t you miss a lot on players with high DEX?
I never miss… my skills don’t at least and if you’re going for Cata or any swordsman let’s be honest here, unless you’re strictly PvEing you only are able to use your skills. PvP is just skill oriented as you’ll barely ever land an AA.
As of right now, one of my piercing skills alone takes over half the HP of every class but tanks… probably due to my STR… that’s good enough for me right now 
First -> As Cataphract your main job is penetrate through a legion of enemies while moving fast and knocking everyone out and then impale one of their fellons, to do it you will need CON. so, put a little more.
Second -> High Str builds are for skill spammers, High Dex builds are for Auto-Attackers.
Third -> As a tank you also need extra eva, so those archers don’t hit you much.
So, as I see even if you are a DPS you will need a lot of survival then focus on CON and DEX. My cata is at lvl82 and it has 10,5k HP without mount or Sw buff and I will put more Con until my base HP hits 15k at least. My main source of damage while lvling is Lydeka auto attack and Earth wave without knockdown so it will hit multiple times. I am hitting more than a 3str:1dex lvl120 2handed sword highlander.
lvl 123 cata with 143 str 40 con and 93 dex and im sitting at 12k base hp which is nice ang 17k hp when buffed mounted and SB
I am at 53con atm… I truly wanna LOTS and LOTS of hp… I won’t care much about damage as I wanna be a tank

High str and dex build is old meta. doesn’t work anymore.
I have 101 in str, 101 in con and 70dex. Going to cap dex at 70 just enough to crit with gear. Capping str at 102. 140con.
I will have around 32k hp unbuff. With mount stats easy 34k. With swb maybe 38k? With gear and other buff easily 55k hp.
Dont bother aiming for dmg since u will never be enough to actually do dmg.
Go con. Hp works for both pve and pvp.
U can tank and get gd gear in et.
You will be a scary speed force in pvp tats hard to ignore but hard to kill
