Need a Boss Battle Warning

It’s a little annoying to be instantly thrown into a boss fight right after accepting a quest that initiates it. There should be a pop-up or a warning in the quest dialogue saying that if you accept the boss fight quest, it’ll start immediately. I would like to at least arrange a party before going into a boss fight rather than having to deal with it on my own.

Have to agree. While some surprises are cool like the hidden bosses from chests, etc., quests shouldn’t be catching you with your pants down.

I agree with @GenericBadGuy also. Or at least put the boss warning in the quest description.

Most of the solo fights in the game are because the player accepted a quest, this also ruin coop since would not have time to find a party to fight it, or at least unless you die and respawn, so I agree with the thread maker.

Someimes when Im about to fight boss, not ready to fight and without a party
I restart the game, and try to find people before make the quest =p

I’ve been able to read the pattern on the game and usually can tell when a boss fight is coming but yeah, a warning on the quest would be appreciated.

Agreed. Maybe a few seconds warning time before initiating the boss fight would be nice. Give us some time to leave the area if we aren’t prepared.

What’s wrong with the idea of escaping from a boss fight rather than having to die?

You can leave the boss fight by going to character selection.

I thought you meant that ‘Warning’ red blinking light to make you anxious before a boss fight.

You also can just change channels to leave boss fights instead of getting killed or going to character select btw.

I don’t know if it’s something that needs changing, but I wouldn’t mind either way. It’s actually been funny a couple of times, like kicking the treasure chest in one pf the begginer areas and it saying, “you have kicked the chest, now boss fight =P” and you are like, waaaaa??? @_@!!!

I don’t mind bosses popping out of treasure chests and stuff like that, but when I’m just accepting a quest, I don’t want to be thrown into boss fights without a chance of preparing a party for it. This is a rather easy fix so we shouldn’t have to find unnecessary workarounds for it.

agree. a confirmation box should be enough

Oh yeah, forgot to add, a cofirmation box for when you’re on party would be awesome too. Today I was checking something else and got dragged into a boss fight by a party member lol

I was killed by this while AFKing in town, so yes, please give us a confirmation window if a party member goes into a boss fight. Plenty of games have warning systems like that.

I have an idea.
Maybe instead of a warning, could do something kind of like Granado Espada raid lobby, but make it differently.

Upon triggering the event, opens a kind of lobby that forces the player to stay stopped in the same place, plus wait for 5 minutes for other players who are doing the same quest.
In case someone else is doing the same quest, the player will enter the lobby.

When the lobby is full, or the time runs out, or everyone clicks that is ready (same is valid when there is only one player on the lobby), the event will begin.

The lobby could be avoided if you have a party and have party members nearby.

I like that idea Nakano15. But I have to admit that entering boss battles ill prepared did add a feeling of excitement.especially since in other forums people are stating how “static” the game is.

I play another game that have something like this:

A confirmation box that says that you will be teleported to a boss fight.

When you are in a party you have to wait to all the members of the party to be present to be teleported automatically, only the party leader have the option to trigger the teleport manually with the party members present if anyone is missing, the ones that are not present don’t teleport to the boss, don’t receive exp, don’t receive items and don’t complete the quest.
