Narvas Temple Barrier (3) Quest - is this bugged?

I am currently trying to catch up to some quests i skipped.
Not sure if the said quest is actually bugged or am i just doing something wrong / missing something…

This quest (at Izo Plateau) is the part where the monk holds the detector system and thee player needs to turn 5 auxiliary systems off… i think i already tried all combinations

I remember a guildmate told me that he can’t progress on some quest there previously

Just keep on turning the ones that are on, off.

Should be finished in 30 seconds or so

Sorry, i think i still don’t get it :persevere:
what i do is:

  • click > it says off > repeat for 5 times, nothing happens whether i speak or not to monk alstis

  • click > it says off > click it again > it says all turned off > repeat 5 times, still nothing happens whether i speak or not to the monk (same dialogue)

EDIT:

I get it now LMAO, didn’t notice there’s a cd/buff for each device :rofl:

Those auxiliary systems will glow when active, don’t follow the instructions where it says all are turned off.

Keep turning them off as quickly as you can, it will finish eventually.

If you can, try to use a pet or speed potion, this quest is a pain for high ping users.

I think my ping that time was average…

Also, i was playing on a character whose effects are turned off, so for the whole time i didn’t even see the glow/blink of the auxiliary systems. Then i noticed there are buffs on the line where token buff is shown - for each click of the system, a clover with buff time is displayed. Its something like, the leftmost one turns off 12s after clicked (longest), while the bottom left one turns off 2~3s after clicked (shortest, make sure to click this one last).

I only noticed the glow when i tried the quest on another character

special effects are not issue. you can check your buff bar. Turning off every device give a short timed buff (Probably not visible normally but visible with show hide buff addon which I have using since ages).
No need to using movespd thing for it. You dont have to wait out for entire bar to finish. As soon as you see its 50% completed, rush to the next one. and do this for all 5. Managed to finish by this method on multiple chars. Not even a single retry needed.
