Name little things that bug you

The only that bugs me the most about this game is the framerate issues.

For me it was really a pain in the ass getting back to Klai for repairing because there were 50+ afk people there waiting at the statue with their shops and i had to wait for around 5 full seconds for the game to process ALL of that and then be “Ok, you can move now”.

no warning that you will warp the whole party to you if you talk to next npc in your quest. for the person doing it, as well as for the people who are warped without being asked.

At those points, it should bring up the question “wanna ask party to join?”

  • “no” --> the sequence starts for you solo
  • “yes” --> “waiting for response” (meanwhile you can cancel the quest or stop waiting->quest starts solo) / partymembers on same map get pop-up asking whether they want to join the quest.
    after all members respond (yes/yes/no/yes), those picking yes are warped to you and quest starts, the rest don’t.

…or add an easily accessible option that each partymember can toggle about whether they can be warped to others for quests or not (instead of just the partyleader being able to change “quest sharing”-option)

also… the party-settings are too hidden it seems, because 80% in parties I felt like the leader doesn’t even know they can change loot settings, quest sharing etc.

Also the return-warp from party-members seems confusing as heck.

You’d use a return-warp that’s shown below a party-members name on the right, tell them about it, but they have no idea how you did it and seemingly cannot use it themselves. It’s unclear what those warps are from and where they go.

It bothers me its hard to choose classes sometimes, I just tried to build a full support wizard, but I wanted most of the skills from thaumaturge, chronomancer and alchemist, but damn they’re right next to each other. Some c2-c3 skills sounds really really great ad fun. Its like Im playing a telltale game :scream:

  • Tree root crystals ruinning an infinite amount of skills, from joint penalty links to zaibas hit counts.

  • Aggro monsters deciding to chase a random bypasser instead of the player mobbing them for half an hour.

  • Double attacking with melee classes because of the low FPS.

  • Whisper and party chats never working properly.

  • Useless card game that doesn’t even have any kind of logic or strategy, always 50/50.

  • Swordsman classes not having the heal skill (if they had it, making dungeons would be 10 times easier since there are 10 corsairs for every cleric in this game).

  • Boss silence traps bugging character animation and making you freeze in place for 5 seconds.

  • Any boss that decides to summon an infinite amount of monsters instead of using skills, or that becomes immune while using a certain skill and decides to spam it.

  • Blue monsters (or rather the fact thay they exist but never show up to me).

  • Cooldowns as a wizard without the pyro circle.

  • 1 FPS world boss fights.

  • Grinding maps where you play for several hours having terrible BGM while questing maps that require less than 15 minutes to complete having completely awesome musics.

  • Talt.

I really am a grumpy human being. Didn’t even plan to write this much…

  • The automatic channel changing system I guess. No, I want to STAY IN THE SAME CHANNEL. I get it that some maps have limited channels, so the change is unavoidable. But it happens to, for example, maps with the same amount of channels, too.
    Mostly when you use Backspace of your party members.
    ----> Limited channels suck.

  • Talking about that, they should just remove the whole party quest name of your party member, or make it smaller, in full text? Maybe add an Area of that member’s quest too? ;__; . Also, the positioning of the text is weird, it’s ABOVE that player’s name. ._. (ideky this is in Italic)

  • The spawn time for some really really normal monsters are too-damn-long.

  • Agree with someone mentioning the party UI, it’s very redundant. Every party by default should be open, or when you create a party you have to let the leader know if you want it to be public or not. The other settings like Recommendation should be available right on the first page too. Basically I feel like a 3rd page for a whole party UI is a bit of a waste. What does the 2nd page even do???

  • Some maps are really hard for walking, either too big or too, eh, not flat enough? Both of them together is a new hell on Earth. For some maps, even if you use Jump you cannot proceed right away. Using Jump while exploring the maps is already tiring enough. Stamina … not enough for exploration purposes. Shouldn’t there be more Vakarine statues? ;____; it sucks at times to walk through 2-3 BIGass maps just to get to some map for trivial purposes.

  • The normal MOVESPD is too slow. For some map exploration rate is always not 100% right away because some stupid corners weren’t covered, but the Area Map (M) doesn’t actually show it. So you have to go along every corner again.

  • SP pots a bit too pricey T_T cooldown time too, RIP.

  • Monster interrupting while you’re talking to objects!!! (or backspacing) While you’re talking they appear out of the blue too, and interrupt right away.

  • Right now every time you use World Map, your position in the Area Map UI will be thrown to somewhere else.

  • The ALT key is really redundant.

  • One time I used a warp scroll to get out of a map that already has the Vakarine statue. The thing is, my position then was like 1 full map away from Vakarine, nope, too much walking. After that, everytime I need to return to that map, The teleport statue (Ausrine/Vakarine) will always take me to that very last position I was in, still 1 map away from that map’s Vakarine. RIP.

  • Sometimes (if not always) you have to Space twice to properly talk to Collection Mage Society NPC and Wings of Lenora NPC (because they need to reupdate or something).

  • Late (rank 7) AND exclusive guild creation (templar) ?? RIP community.

  • Chat tabs are broken, and/or sometimes auto-switch from Party tab to Shout tab.

  • Error when trying to open a new game because the old client from your last play (Client_tos.exe) doesn’t auto-exit in background. Then you have to go to the Task Manager to close it down…

And yeah, web login sucks. (KR)

I really hate how jumping out of melee attacks can completely avoid getting hit. If your a swordy class trying to duel other classes as well as other swordy classes, prepare to completely miss all of your melee skills since a simple jump can completely neutralize your skills.

When you use a melee skill, you are bound (unable to move or jump) untill the skill animation is executed. While this is happening, your opositon can just simply jump out of the attack, completely avoiding any damage.

Jumping is also free of any resources, spammable, and no diminishing returns. Making it the best form of physical damage mitigation. It stumps block, dodge, and phydef by miles due it’s undeniable effectiveness in mitigating physical attacks.

You can already change hotkeys in kTOS.

It will get fixed im sure. Though the PVP is bad and almost non-existent at this time anyway.

To make things worse, if you able to somehow land a skill vs a jump happy opponent, the next thing you have to worry about is if your skill will hit against block, dodge, and def. This makes swordy classes very underwhelming in PvP situations.

On the other hand magic skills are ranged, unavoidable (unless its a circle aoe), unblockable, and undodgable. Mdef is the only form of mitigation. To make things worse, mdef is very underwhelming in mitigating magic damage. This is why magic classes are so strong in the PvP.

Actually, what I mentioned was a huge part of game play that really fkn posses me off.

To get to the topic… smaller things that bug me is… The ugly ass UI font. It’s so damn ugly. Calibri or Arial would have been more aestheticly pleasing. Not an ugly pseudo times new roman font… Damn…

The archers range.
Arches without quiver.
just a few hairstyle and colors to pick up.
The market.
No trade.
I can’t use my name above my character. Just the last name or complete name.
Crashes and bugs.

That I had the crown of Icbt2 for like 1 and a half month, like miss Colombia, but now Korea has the crown, like Philipinnes

I hate it when I put down a ground AoE and it attacks traps instead of the monster or boss.

Targeting different enemy with tab - it doesnt let me target closest enemy to me if its behind me, instead it decides to select enemy who is in front of me and near my previous target. Its very frustrating and not intuitive when i want to hit and run as archer, or simply when something spawned behind me while i was targeting something in front at distance.

Some pointless bonuses in buffs such as Swift Step movement bonus that not only is not noticable to make any difference but also is not logical as it boost movement while walking instead of making us run.

The awakening of items require trading item to alchemist and then back to us. Not only it makes us vulnerable to scam but it also makes it horrible with the pay to trade options.
