[NA] DLC is almost DOUBLE the price of [SEA] DLC? What?

I made a grave mistake when making my account.

I play from New Zealand so most mmo’s apart from a small few don’t have oceanic servers. US west is always the next best usually with around 150-200ms. I hadn’t even considered that the server might be US east, the ping in the game has always been high throughout early access due to the overload of people but it would settle once everyone had been transferred to their appropriate servers. But now that everys gone and Orsha is pretty empty most of the time my ping was still high so looked into it and yup, its US east. It’s my own fault, now im stuck with 250-400ms(250 on a good day). I made a character on SEA to check the ping and its 170! usually I have a higher ping on SEA servers. I could transfer there but the transfers are over now. I could re-roll on SEA but I have 615 levels combined across all my characters and already used all 4 of the founders packs on them.

(TL:DR) I’m an idiot.

Anyways, to rub salt into my wounds, I went to see what the new DLC I could buy contains and the blam! Why, oh why, is the NA packs almost double the cost of SEA packs?

Hahahaha…

GODDAMN20CHARACTERS

I thought they were just trolling me but that’s just it. NA players from SEA or OCEANIA will get fked by this. Why the hell would the same Pack costs Double.

Cause we live in fre*king poor 3rd world countries where Daily Minimum Wage is 3.20-8.37 USD. While in New Zealand, Daily Minimum Wage is 62.53 USD. :joy:
Only Singaporean can buy this sht without worry.:yum:
We have to work at least 3 days for a stupid DLC. Fu
k NO!:joy: This is too much!

dollars are more expensive in different countrys maybe that’s a reason why?

The pricing is pretty much correct.

I said the same thing when I was a kid and saw the US/Canada pricing on the back of kids books.

Um, duno where you got that number from. Our wage is only a couple dollars better @ $10.28USD.

Sad part is you can’t even buy it because its region locked anyway. Isn’t it?

If the number is wrong, then Philippines government is… :joy:
Note:The number is per day not per hour.:joy:

Yea that chart was confusing me too lol.

Afaik steam only displays the packs you’re eligible for?

From New Zealand governent :joy:
On 1 April 2016, the adult minimum wage went up by 50 cents to $15.25 an hour
The starting-out and training hourly minimum wages rates have also increased from $11.80 to $12.20 per hour

The current adult minimum wage rates (before tax) that apply for employees aged 16 or over are:
$15.25 an hour; which is:
$122.00 for an 8-hour day
The minimum rates that apply to starting-out workers, and employees on the training minimum wage (before tax), are:
$12.20 an hour; which is:
$97.60 for an 8-hour day
(U guy are so rich :persevere:)

Thats not in USD… its in NZD so times that by 0.67 to get USD

$15.25 NZD x 0.67 = $10.21 USD - not as bad as you guys but its only slightly better. Also unlike America we get taxed before we get paid, so take 17.5% off of that $8.42 USD.

15.25NZD=10.293788 USD per hour
The problem is "we are so poor that we count work as a day."
97.60NZD=65.833057 USD per day(8 hours)
When compare to SEA counties:Myanmar, Lao PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand 2.74, 3.68, 4.67, 5.23, 7.73, 7.10, 7.62 and 8.37USD per day
I really want to cry right now.

Yup, that’s harsh.

But yea, the main point was as @DeathTheKid said earlier:

Anyone not from NA playing on NA is going to pay expensive prices, though I think even for US, that’s quite expensive for them too.
