My/Your feeling with Templar Class ? (and Cata and GVG and IMC)

Hi everyone just wanted to share my whine tickets of today after testing GVG for the first time…

Type of Bug : Templar class being useless (not new for some of you i know)

Date/Time and Location : all the time

Description : hi,

- First problem : Templar :

The game force the Guild Master to make a Templar classe to create a Guild, sound stupid to me but well why not… if you do that, that mean perhaps you have worked well on this class to make it a good element for guild leading and playing GVG right ? no…

Why forcing people to create a Templar if you force people to dont play it ??? Noone play his Templar, guys like me who play templar are just casu/noob gamer and mainly just get blame by stupid Euphie “ho dont take your Templar in TBL noob i’ll loose the PVP”. He suck but he is not totally wrong. Thanks IMC to make me playing a class i should not play. reroll force GG.

Well anyway… So I take my templar in GVG so this staturday, i’ve been able to test for GVG for the first time in TOS : so my templar is useless in GVG too… I loose time with POP UP up to summon or warp to member… and after used it i have to wait… HO YES ! Just ONE hour to re use it !!! So the skills of Templar are just to make the tower and TP Guildmate in PVE every 1 hour. Good Game IMC !!!

You really made the Templar a useless classe. lets imagne IMC office : “Come on guys lets create a classe that people dont care, and wont use cause we will make it totally useless !” “ho yes good idea and hey… and lets say it will be juste to create the guild !” “ho yeah ! and make people create a character just for loosing time !” “very well !” “no more perfect !!! for trolling our gamers more, let make a video to show swordmans classes where the Templar will just doing gardening ! :D’”

2nd problem : Cataphract :

Dreaming of a usefull Templar i made a Cata3 Templar, so dumb i am… in GVG when you die, you loose your mount, better, the mount stay in the battle ground, so you resurect and can’t get back on the mount, ok cata3 useless (cause a Cata without mount can’t use his skills), Templar useless (cause read before), thx IMC i can reroll and not play my main char, not play your templar class cause quite diffucult to GVG with just Swordman 1 Pelta 2.

3rd problem

The GVG you just changed the time from night (stupid) to early morning for people who dont work on morning at 09:00am… idiots.
I play games only for mass GVG and TOS seems to not want people to play GVG…

So i couldn’t GVG, you changed time, i still can’t GVG.
I was able to have some fun in TBL, you changed time, i no more can TBL, sry to not finish my work at 15:00PM

Kim started a good game. u fooled it.

  1. take kim

  2. made a good idea

  3. put people who dont care the game

  4. leave the game.

hmm dont even know to add GM (who are in fact just community helper with no impact on the game) in my text cause crappy forum… @GM_Francis @GM_Sebastian not even sure they are GM or usefull for the comunity. if there is other GM hf hading them ! :slight_smile:

A King will often watch his Gladiators from a far. Why risk his own life, when he has those who would risk their lives for him? Oh you wanted to be a Gladiator then? Perhaps you should have followed another King?

I am always playing my Cata-Templar in GvG. But I admit that I can always play something else, not to mention the Templar at c1 doesn’t offer anything useful for GvG. But that may change when Templar c2 and c3 comes out.

Tips :
If you die, and your mount isn’t around when you respawn, press F9 (mount UI), dismount your companion (click the green button), and then click the same button again to summon your companion.

yes doing it but really not a solution

for templar in GVG at least change the delay of summon/warp to something more fun like 2-5min :stuck_out_tongue:

Consider Templar as a PvE Character. You want to be good/decent in PvP, build for it. I fully understand it sucks to lvl something to Rank 7 just to be able to create a guild. I’ve run Guilds most of my Gaming time, but even though it would take me like a week to hit Rank 7, I just don’t feel the need, or want, to make something I will never play.

Templar was meant to be leveled up and then abandoned just like Alchemists and other classes that waste multiple circles on non-combat abilities.

Assuming you go Templar at R8 to get the new GvG buff buildings, your character will be even more useless because the one new attacking skill you get requires a sword, meanwhile all of the guys with actual R8 classes will be oneshotting you.

Templar is a huge disappointment. I don’t mind there being a character class tied to guild creation but the fact that the character is worthless once you make your guild is sad.

Templar is a crafter class like any other.

I don’t understand why people insist on templars being “super useful” in pvp. It’s like bringing an alchemist to pvp and expecting to be top dps.

Templar is a ‘crafter’ class because:

  • You can get tons of dilgele in a semi-afk manner just by having a templar (150 dilgele per guild level every 6 hours).

  • You can ‘craft’ unique companions like hamster.

  • You can help others craft stuff faster (have an alchemist in your guild to craft potions from your dilgele farms and you can get tons of silver).

And in circle 2 you can:

  • Give others (guild members) a hp bonus (the shield).

  • Give others (guild members) a really nice patk bonus.

They have a few “offensive support” skills like Battle Orders or Share Buff, just like other crafter classes have Squire’s Arrest or Pardoner’s Discerning Evil. That is just so it doesn’t feel utterly boring to play a templar if you decide to main one.

If you want a pvp intensive build, you won’t make a Templar. Just like you probably won’t focus on Squire or Alchemist for pvp.

You can imagine the whole “GvG” thing as being one of Templar’s crafting ability. You can get TP rewards with it, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to.

Pardoner actually has surprisingly strong skills. Alchemist actively does things as a class rather than being strictly afk crafting. It’s pretty much Squire and Templar that are solely there to be dead character slots. I’d personally rather the game not have any classes that exist solely to AFK as a vendor or create a guild and then forget about them.

Have a pelt c3 squire c3…I can even solo rush lvl 190 dun with that…so not much of a dead slot afk…:blush: what more if r8 comes…murmillo and that new squire atk skill…:laughing:

ok so its normal to everyone to create a rank 7 class for totally nothing.
imc worked well, all is perfect !

sry but :

  • Templar is not a pve character, just saying ■■■■ O_o, you dont take templar for playing pve you take templar for creating your guild.
  • Some people make r7 in a week, and others no, all ppl are not mono masturbating living all day front of their computer.
  • After creating the guild with templar, -all guild members can gather dilgele, we can make hamtaro pets

@mrshadowccg at least you got real clever argu for the rest… thx. And sadly you are right -_-, but well, like @SlyGoat said its worst imo for squire/templar who are even more limiter in the build.

People making here post to improve/speak about class ? argue on some skills function ?

Then ok, i change my way, i agree you but I want then to speak about futur of templar, to argue on the summon and warp skill delay for example. wouldn’t it be a better thing to improve that on a class who is useless ? agree ? imc reduce the delay plz. :wink:

Btw, yes, its the same then for other craft class, all people are not able or like to make several reroll, so cant imc give craft class some more ability ?

ok its still posible to play them, but sry, its not really opti.

i repeat, i dont ask a uber templar, i dont ask for uber attack or def skills, i dont mind to have a class who cant fight or who is useless by itself, i just feel stupid to have a class you dont play. just give a better delay on summon and you 'll already have a great improve to the class.

look RO, you got EC on leader, you got EC on your main OP char so you got a real played char + EC, i dont even ask for this, i ask :

  • a usable EC on a useless char XD
  • a cata who resurect with pet near him
  • a IMC team who look at time zone.

am i wrong ? anyway with any answer like @mrshadowccg the argue is null, gonna continue in templar rank for the guild and reroll to play something real waiting a real playable templar then.
