I’m going to be Duoing with a friend come OBT and have decided to roll with the new Chaplain in a support role. my build is essentially going to be : http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/lntgopdcjv/ , give or take a couple minute changes depending on how things turn out. im looking for suggestions on these changes and would also like to know What i should be investing my stat points in. Should i go full SPR, or should i mix between SPR/INT?
If i understand your build properly you should go SPR/DEX with a little bit of CON. INT wont do much for you (with an exception of just a little bit stronger heals).
Also i think that not taking Discerning evil on Pardoner if you go full support route is a mistake. Indulgentia is also a questionable skill to take. If you want to sell buffs then its better to do on a separate character and not on main imo.
I just thought the time for Discerning Evil was a little low and figured indulgentia would be a little better as i have no plans on going C3 pardoner. as for the selling part, thats for when im afk or not actually playing the game. easy money for the both of my partner and i and i’m still a good addition to a party.might i ask what DEX provides for the classes i have chosen though?
is your buddy going krivis 2? because you have 10 buffs in that build, so the overwhelming majority of your skills will go completely unused without somebody casting daino.
my friend still doesnt quite know what they want to play, but having so many buffs is a good thing as the only time a mass number of buffs will be on at once is either:
- Build Chapel
- pre-fight buffs.
a support cleric should only place down the necessary buffs when they are needed like safety zone or magic zone. revive is also a very situational buff in that you should only use it if the target is literal seconds away from death.
@dark_nobody212 I agree with taking Discerning Evil. If you’re a C2 Pardoner, having lvl 10 discerning evil means you can keep a debuff up with 100% uptime ( as long as that debuff lasts at least 4 seconds initially ). For a lot of debuffs, that’s very useful. Highlander Cross Cut Bleed, Wugushi Needle Blow, Fencer Lunge, Hoplite Spear Lunge, come to mind. I would not take Indulgentia beyond lvl 1, and wouldn’t put any points in Oblation. Even with full oblation counts at max lvl, the damage is very bad. The skill is good because it can cure everyone.
i’ll remember that and switch the build around then to have max DE instead and put the remaining points into Simony then.
btw, Plague Doctor can prevent any debuffs and cure all types of debuff and deals more damage to enemies affected by debuff and spread any debuff to nearby enemies.
Ive already decided the classes in the build above. maybe as a rank 8 class sure but as current this is what the build will be.
