My (somewhat) Support build

Hi guys,

With the early access upon us I was hoping to share my build project with you and maybe ask for some brainstorming help. I must say though, that in the close betas I got only to Rank3 so I don’t really have that much experience. I might be mistaken on some things.

Things I want (goals?):

  • Be support -> Heals and Buffs
  • Attempt self-sufficiency
  • Be PvP/GvG enabler (to support on the kills, not do the killing)

I picked priest for the buffs, res and heals, and went all the way to priest3 for iron skin. I don’t see the reason to max iron skin if I focus on SPR, INT and CON the most.
Chaplain’s Deploy Capella looks to me like a good option in GvG where you won’t have the whole guild in the party (or can you do raid like parties?). I wonder though if enemies can use it too.

Things I’ve considered for my rank 6:

  • Having Paladin1 for Restoration (sp recovery mostly attempting self sufficiency) and for the knockdown and buff against mages.
  • Getting Pardoner for mdef buff/money/guild support (I would have to go Pardoner 2 though).

As for my rank7:

  • I think PD will get nerfed a lot as it is clearly OP for so many reasons. So for now I rather not make it my decision, though it looks way to good as it is so far.
  • Paladin 2 for more damage… but I would have to get stats accordingly.
  • Pardoner 2…?

My wish list looks like this:

  • Not to level by just auto-attacking.
  • To support mages (almost no buffs for them).
  • Have a CC (Smite knockdown is the closest I got, if I get Paladin).

I understand I can’t get everything, but having in mind my goals and ideas I was hoping I could get some insight from you guys

Cheers and thank you in advance!

Then don’t go priest/chaplain because that’s all you’ll do for the first 5 ranks. And still take up most of your routine afterwards.

If you feel strongly about this i suggest you look up a paladin or dievdirby focused build instead.

It’s not like that’s a requirement for me though, but I appreciate the reply. Will take a look into those.

Trying druid c2 for rank 6 & 7. It has decent skill for aiding allies and dealing moderate damage.

Kabbalist for rank 7 as well. It has good spells and has merkabah, allowing you to use offensive magic if you get bored healing.
