My overall thoughts on ToS from beta

The EXP rate is fine, people complaining are trying to casualize the game far too much.

PVP is fun, but needs to be “more”. The game is still fresh and new, not even officially released yet, so this will probably come with time. There needs to be some sort of big open map castle siege pvp mode, making use of all the support classes that can help bolster a position. Currently matchmade pvp doesn’t really do this. When will my squire skills be useful in pvp?

Builds need to be less confusing, especially for Cleric. Should I go STR, SPR, or INT? All 3? Are monk skills all based on STR? What about the big laser beam? Is that based on INT? Carve is based on Physical attack, so STR, Paladins smite is also based on STR. What about the pally regen? Int? Am I supposed to find some balance between the two? Then how much Dex do I need to be able to hit targets adequately? Do I need it at all for the possibly int-based monk skill?

[/quote]Figuring out which builds work is part of the game, if they tell you everything, they can just scrap the whole stats and give you the best optimal build automatically.

Yea, the stats distribution is s bit confusing for newer players. I suggest a auto stat distribution like maplestory would help those who needs it

I don’t care as long as I can distribute them manually and that actually has an effect on the build (not like ffxiv where you get like 20 freely distributable points you end up putting into your main stat because the rest gets auto-distributed).

Leveling up hundreds of levels to the class you want only to find out one of the skills you plan on using is based on INT not STR, and not being able to do anything about it is not good game design…

Nor is not leaving the player any choice. Besides, status/skill resets are as good as confirmed.
