My new alt: C2 P3 O3 full spirit pve

As 1st thing, let me say that I joined the “evil” and rerolled an archer rogue ranger 3 SR 3.

I’m been playing supports chars since the beta of DAOC and I never stopped, the most fun I had was while playing a priest on wow in an hardcore pve raid guild (that was my most nerding experience of almost 2 years, but still I had great fun and I don’t regreat it, honestly :stuck_out_tongue: )

The switch on DPS was kind of insane, yet super funny. Playing well a dps char is not so easy as most ppl think, and for me is a super fun experience, plus for some reason I have always loved AoE characters, and SR is kinda rewarding if you like to kill waves of mobs :slight_smile:

Now that the archer is kinda ready for end game (attribute at 70, 8x werewolf card capped, decent manamana, good gems) I was looking for an alt playable without too much efford, and for too much efford I mean that doesnt require 100+ milions on attributes.

This game is pushing when you reroll a char, and I dont want to dedicate time to grind for a secondary char, so this is my new alt Im working on:

I still have to allocate 23 points in the oracle, and Im kinda thorn.

A couple of points:

  • arcane energy is a nice buff but can backfire in some teams (meltis, lycan) so I dont know If I should invest more points into it.
  • Death sentence at 1 allows you to kite basically anything for 1minute, so it’s mostly an utility point
  • Counterspell and prophecy looks “okish” even on medium / low (u want prophecy full refresh timer and that’s it) in pve
  • change at 15 can be nice to make some test on high levels mob? Most oracles have it at 1 so I honestly wonder if rolling smthing high I can spawn unique stuff

Now, the most interesting part is the stats distribuition:

Given the NO DPS nature of the oracle, Im going for a 0 CON support with:

8x nuaele cards
virtov plate top bottom
3x hats with 2k+ hp
didel tower shield
2x rhevisan bracelet
max peta

plus the very high value of stone skin and the barrier spam (never run around without a couple of nice scrolls guys ^^)

In fact I have never played a cleric with less then 100 “naked” con, but with such a defensive build I think it can work so I will be able to have the best blessing in town.

what do u think of this mostruosity? I created it this week, kinda curious to see it supporting in end game istances :slight_smile:

if u die then who want to ress ur teammate xD
or gitgud and avoid all atk without con
unplayable if too much lag and low fps drop rofl

the key thing is the gear. With 60 con from it PLUS well over 15k hp from gems, hats and virtov, allocating extra con seems kind of a waste. the extra con to be notable should be well over the 50 con (I would say my standard 76 allocated points for 100 “naked” con that I suggest to most new clerics) but I dont think is worth it in this scenario.

On most clerics you want hats with dps rolls, the rings are dps slots too and same goes for the neck (animus) but this is not the case.

IF I would be without gear ofc I wouldnt suggest it, but with this gear doesn’t look a bad set up for pve contest, honestly.

Time will tell, I guess ^^

I’m Alyu from Silute server and I main a cleric 2 priest 3 oracle 3.
My stats are 83 con rest spr.
Due to the new lv 315 shield and enchanter’s sixth enchant,I think it is possible to run a 0 con build.It might be a bit squishy at low levels though but,if you use your hp hats since the beginning,it might not be that tough.

Well,about your status,change should be level 1 if you want to pick it.The extra levels on change only change the level of the changed mob making it lower or higher.It does not affect which monster comes.For pve,level 5 counter spell and prophecy are,indeed,enough but you might want to increase them if you want to go further with the build.I advice up to 10 points in each for pvp and GvG.
As Oracle,I strongly suggest you to pick Clairvoyance and Resseting.It helps a lot and may be better to farm rarer itens such as battle bracelet or manahas set.Also,I recommend you to pick gender switch.It’s pretty much THE oracle 3 skill.You can open a afk shop or sell changes in the shout.About Arcane energy,it has only 1 use at the moment,which is buffing enchanter’s agility.It pretty much has no actual use.I only recommend 1 level if you’re going plague doctor and,since it’s not your case,it’s useless to you.The rest is up to you.
About the priest build,it’s pretty much equal to mine but I do not recommend you to have aspersion.It’s lv 0 or lv 15.Also,I recommend aspersion lv 15 for you.Blessing is quite weak at r8.With my 403 spr,I add around 550 damage with a lv 16 blessing(Divine might).I’ll definitly change to aspersion if IMC gives an extra skill reset since I don’t want to use my TP to change 1 skill.As reference,I used myself with and without aspersion while destroying the 290 dg orb.With aspersion,I take less than 1k from the archer while I take around 2.5k without it.

I did not take change because I didn’t see much use in my gameplay and didn’t enjoy it and I did not get forecast for…not reason at all .-. I’ll probably get it and get its atributes if I reset for the 5% change to miss.

Thx for the insight, I do also like 15 aspersion 15 blessing build (since I honestly think mass heal is horrible 10/10 so 1/10 is fine) but it’s a bit of a greedy build given the hit to revive.

That sad, I have exped already 2 chars with 2x abomination bracelet and +10con necklace till 170 and it works wonders to maximize your main stat since con is not so needed while exping and this is an easy pick, even if abo bracelet used to be expensive at least pre r8, didn’t checked anymore and I have no clue about the price right now :slight_smile:

Glad that somebody else is already running this build since it looks a lot of fun if you like to full support and is off meta for sure :wink:

This is the greedy version with aspersion

@Alyu_aint_short if you are going to reset your skills, I do also suggest you to take only 3/15 deprotected because is where you get the extra attribute.

I know that a lot of people like 5/5 fade with the new maps but I will stick with 1/5 and see where it goes

For oracle, I went with all the utility points plus 10/15 foresee to make the buff rotation less painfull at 1min duration.

Given the no pvp 8/15 is a bit of an overkill but you never know, those were my leftover points basically :wink:

I’m aware about the deprotected zone…It’s just a personal pick.It doesn’t help a lot in damage but it’s what I can do :smiley: I like the extra seconds.Same for fade,I like the 20 seconds duration but it sure isn’t needed.It’s a personal choice.
About Mass Heal,I love it at 10/10.It helps a lot.If you like it at 1/10,it’s your choice.I’m more a defense/healer than damage incresing guy.I honestly don’t think blessing should be at lv 15 with aspersion lv 15 since it uses a lot of points.Ress,should be at lv 5,in my opnion,for 1 sec cast time with divine might.The rest is your pick.Like I said above,it’s all about personal choices.There isn’t a 100% top build in the game,in my opnion.Everyone picks what they like and what suits them.If a lv 1 mass heal and lv 2 ress is what you like,go for it!

Haha, glad to see you play around with the Oracle build, OP :stuck_out_tongue: I also wanted to do an Oracle3 build but I didn’t know what to pick for the “3 fillers” classes. xD Right now I’m lvling a Krivis alt though. :frowning:

I’ve never made a SPR/Priest build before. Ideally, how much SPR and INT do we need as a support Priest?

And the real question… How hard is it to level/quest with this kind of build lol.

It isn’t “hard” before r8 but it takes time if you solo it.

Regarding the “filler” circle

I do think priest is the best choice since oracle is a no DPS class so, avoiding a low rank “int” class, you are free to costumisize like a full support and forget about int (even if your carpet will be worst).

Another good point on the full spirit topic, btw, is the armor shop buff that gives you 1 con for 20 spirit points for 24h.

The only other class that I would consider is diev since, well, diev are just so strong that are always worth it but at that point I would rather play a meta diev class (and I do have a diev already…)

Questing is the standard bad stuff, but with high lvl blessing or aspersion (or both) IMO is gonna be better then exping a diev.

I don’t mind it since I do have all the good exping gear (+5 valia +5 toy hammer +10 caprisun, ardee, ledas shield, abomination set) but I strongly suggest to invest some silvers on your exping gear if you want to build a char like this. Plus side is gonna be there for any alt you will want to build :slight_smile:

And honestly Im not too worried for the last maps, I burn 8x tomes since grinding at truffle so I dont even need cards after lvl 200 honestly :stuck_out_tongue: and I do prefear party grinding as a playstile as well since IMO is more fun.

Interesting. I like INT clerics because muh DPS <3 But I’m really interested in going Oracle C3 since I like the flavor of the class. Besides, trying out a SPR/Support build sounds fun :o (but I really should stop making a shiton of cleric classes xD).

I just started playing ToS on my local server so I don’t have that many items yet. My first char is gonna be Cleric2>Bokor2>Diev1>Oracle1>PD2. Currently she’s lvl184, but should be able to hit 190 today. I have lvl80 Krivis on the side, planning to do a meta INT build (Taoist?) on her, but I’m not sure. I could go PD2 because Zalciai is a debuff and Incinerate is supposed to work with any debuff right?

Anyway, that’s off-topic. How well can an Oracle (with resetting) farm though? I think I’m gonna take Resetting once I get another class level. Pls stop giving me Galok leathers, I want that BB ;_;

Oh, and how much SPR do you take?

Well if you go Cleric 3 and max Protect Zone and Fade you can survive quite comfortably even with no CON at all by circling these 2 skills as you’ll have virtually no downtime for invincibility

You can also enchant your armour from an Enchanter and get the ‘20 SPR for 1 CON’ Buff.

Yup, Oracle is a no DPS class. Instead, it’s a burst & nuke class.
Death Sentence and Twist of Fate can melt even the toughest monsters in mere seconds. The only catch is that you need at least 2 Oracle C3 players to make it work. Sadly Twist of Fate is currently bugged and doesn’t work on boss monsters at all, but when the issue is resolved, Oracle C3 will become the boss melter as it can strip ~1m of its HP in 2-3 seconds and most relevant dungeon/mission bosses have around 2-3m [world bosses are currently not planned to be affected by Twist of Fate so no use to argue about them].

This makes the Oracle C3 setting one of the most effective dungeon rush classes in a party, because the nuke skills don’t depend on the stats [meaning a no INT/CON build can kill as fast as a INT build or A CON build or a SPR build with its Oracle skills].
This also opens Oracle to the physical Cleric builds, however, it doesn’t seem to have sparked any interest yet[mostly because Inqui C1 is currently >Oracle C3]…

What I wanted to say, oracle doesn’t have any sinergy with INT.

And monk 1>oracle3 could be a thing if we didn’t have inqui at r8, that for sure. But with the actual situation, the only point to go str or dex is to be a little better at soloing (kappa)
