My hybrid future Monk plz review it

Hi, i made lots of research and could find something to fit what i wanted as a monk until i made up my mind and trying to be a hybrid monk

In Ranks i went, Clerick>priest (for buffes xtra dmg)

krivis>krivisC2> monk>monkC2

In Stats i was planing to get 100 dex with buffs and all

STR 100 and rest to Int to have dmg with my magic krivis skills

What do you think would this work? Or i just wasting my time.

Note i dont want a sup monk, i would like more of a Dps presure monk…

Alright, can you please use the tos skill simulator so that I could take a good look at it?

I am quite curious about this…unorthodox style.

  • Monstrance only need lv 1 for buff only, more level only for debuffing. I personally want at least lv 2 Ress for Priest to trade with Monstrance…
  • You want to take Krivis at rank 2 instead if that’s your build plan. You can survive without any priest’s buffs until rank 3-4
  • I never tried Zalcai at higher levels, but I will pick lv 3 Aukuras and decrease Zalcai levels for that. This skill has hidden effect to provoke enemies and decrease their accuracy, so your dex with monstrance will be ggwp lol…
  • Cleric wise, it’s up to player to choose between Cure and Deprotect Zone. However, I prefer Cure because holy damage can be useful for certain monsters. If I were you I will split to 3 Cure 2 DZ

You didn’t show Monk skills so far so no feedback for that…

Seeing that you’re hellbent on focusing as a dps and no plans on healing, get rid of priest and replace with the krivis.

But this definitely is a problem.

You primarily want to focus on the monk skill set, so why would you forsake STR in favor of INT? You want to be a dps pressure monk…whatever that is. If you’re going to look at the monk skill set, you get like 5 or 6 offensive skills that can be enhance by raising your STR. On the other hand, krivis only has 1 offensive skill. The rest are pretty much useless for a dps class.

So, this idea of your won’t work. If you’re going for INT, then forsake the monk and replace it with other cleric class that benefit with INT.

But if you want to continue with this idea, don’t bother with INT. Focus on Str, Dex and Con. Your zaibas becomes a secondary, range skill and will still be quite useful even if you reach monk c2 or c3.

That’s my opinion.

Do you want to rate my monk build? I made one yesterday and could use someone that reviews it. Edit: I also feel like making a different thread for this would be redundant.

Thx for the feed back :smiley: ill try and change base skills and yeah i think is a waste but by choosing krivis to lvlup is not that bad

It’s not. Krivis c3 is plausible for a monk build, though not that much popular. I’ve used this build in iCBT2 and I find it useful and crafty.

The only difference is that I never invested in INT. Not one single point.

Zaibas still deal good damage with only 30 INT in my Krivis-Monk on last CBT, the only deal is spending your money to increase its attribute (but trust me, until I get millions silver, attributing on Zaibas is worth both damage and price)

I suggest that you create your own post in the cleric subforums so that others can throw sticks and bones at your build and what nots
