My First Impression of ToS [Commentated Gameplay Video]

Hey Tree of Savior community! I’m a MMO/Action-RPG streamer and YouTuber and luckily got into the ToS beta (thanks to IMCGames).

I was only able to test for two days (due to Gamescom), but what I have seen so far fascinated me. It has been a long time since I enjoyed a game so much (I even became kinda addicted!) and I was positively surprised by how polished the game is already.

The game has very complex class, skill and stat systems, excellent music/sound effects and slashing monsters is just super fun. My personal highlights were boss fights, which can be quite challenging if you are soloing.
The video is a short 2:30 minute introduction and overview to the game, followed by 15 minute of gameplay with live commentary. I tried to cover most of the basic things ToS has to offer, and want to help people who didn’t get into beta get used to the game as well.

I hope you had as much fun as me playing this game, and look forward to the next beta phase! I will most likely stream that one as well and help the game to get some visibility on Twitch.

Thank you a lot for this video!

I didn’t get into beta unfortunately, but the more I see about the game, the more hyped I get. Everything just looks so smooth and polished.
Do you plan on making more videos on release?

Good job on your video and over view.

I didn’t see a gem explanation, but very detailed and in depth video for beginners.

I tried to include it, but didn’t figure it out in time (I only had limited time to test because of Gamescom). There were several other things I couldn’t cover, like PvP, death penalty, “Like” system, resurrection, etc. I mostly made this video to introduce my audience (40k subscribers) to the game, as I am going to play it a lot probably

@Xeldrina: If the game turns out to be great and doesn’t become a 2nd ArchAge (my only fear right now is the cash shop), I will definitely cover this game! People loved my guides in Diablo and GW2 and TreeOfSavior is a perfect game to make guides for (Experience, Leveling Zones, Class guides, Gold Making, Boss Guides, PvP Matches, content in this game is endless).

I agree, it will be very important for the cash shop to not sell anything that gives an advantage, like experience boosts or super strong items (I think stuff like auto-resurrection, cosmetic features, stash space, etc are all fine!).

It’s sad what happened to ArchAge, but I’m very happy the game is not in the hands of NCSoft and Trion and that IMC decided to publish the game themselves in the western world.
