My experience with the game so far

The game seems to have improved by adding trading and transaction ability. Especially the team chest is nice.
I’ve made 4 characters so far and here’s my experience:

Char 1:
Played for a few days, casually questing, doing the daily dungeons and quests just to get used to the game. Got to level 211 then just got bored because the grind seemed slow af.

Char 2:
Now that I realized that EXP cards are a f***in waste of time, I did it the old way, grind best possible spots and use the cash shop for dungeon resets, tomes and exp boosts.
Took me 10 hours and 13 mins to get from 1 - 330.

Char 3:
Did the same thing as char 2 but w/o the use of resets, only the daily XP boosts I got from the recent event. Took me about 35+ hours from 1 - 330. (I wasn’t grinding as hardcore)

Char 4:
Wanted to attempt a normal casual run w/o the use of any exp boost nor instance reset. Only by normal grinding and doing every single EXP card quest just to make a comparison. I gave up at lvl 110ish in 4 days because all the running around made me want to kms.

So yea, Char 2 using the cs and Char 3 using event only items were the things that made my experience and gameplay pleasant. Char 3 especially, not too fast, not too slow, it felt just about right.

My only problem was the dungeon runs. Literally, no people to run dungeons with. I thought this was cross server dungeon matching but I NEVER got once matched with someone from a different server. Good thing I play with my brother and a friend so we could somewhat complete the dungeons. I honestly have no idea what they can do about grouping since I experienced 2 hour queue times on the lower lvl dungeons. (50 - 200)

The p2w aspect is a bit annoying but it’s not too bad. Other than that, the game has improved a lot since release.
What I hope is for them to increase the quest EXP card reward. Even 10fold imo. Since some quest reward cards are worth 3 mobs!!!

Oh yea and your everyday bots here and there.

PS: A thing I forgot to add was “Team limited rewards on events”. I really dislike this feature. I see no benefit of making multiple chars on 1 account. You are hindered on your offline shops, less event items, extra TP for extra slots. One is better off making 2 extra accounts to get extra benefits.

Thoughts?

I also think cross server queues would be beneficial, especially for lower populated servers. In Silute I very rarely wait more than 3 mintues for anything (any level dungeon, saalus, missions).
Hopefully they will do this at some point but I’m not really sure if it’s possible having the servers located in different regions. I don’t think ping matters too much unless it’s making it impossible to move, I honestly see more benefit than harm overall imo.

I though cross server queue was already implemented. Or is it only for missions?

Everything you said is accurate. Questing and EXP cards are hardly relevant anymore, especially with the events.

Community of this game has gone down though, since the beginning.

I’d go more into this, but literally last time I did I got gkicked for it.

If they are in the same region.

as Celgaming said, cross server exists in the same region. Klaipeda and Orsha for an example. Are u playing on Fedimian?

I also gave the game a try after many many months… I think the game improved by A LOT! by only the fact that grinding mobs now is nice exp and not doing those boring quest railroad.

It’s nice to see IMC still has love for the game, only way too unfortunate the good stuff had to come so late after the major population drop.

My last day of luck of the anvils event was super sad, long story short my 100% buff died in que because not enough people to run the dungeons (and i was using vouchers all runs), i really dislike the fact that you get more exp with automatch, i wish i could do my dungeon runs with my friends without having to que at all and still getting the extra EXP.

You can… keep the EXP bonus, but you’ll still have to use the queue system. :stuck_out_tongue:

  1. If you’re able to complete a full 5-man party, you can click [Auto Match with Party], then wait while your friends click on the same button, after you see all their icons appear, you can click [Auto Match w/ Current Members] and you’ll get in right away with the EXP bonus intact.

  2. If your group consists of less than five (5) members and there’s really no one else queuing, then you’re in luck! Just click “Auto Match”, then have your friends do the same, then you all just click [Match 2 to 4 Players]. Since it’s basically just you and them on queue, you’ll all be matched together (if still below 5 on queue) after five (5) minutes from the time the [Match 2 to 4 Players] was clicked by the very first person to have done it. Granted this will require at least five minutes of waiting, but you still get your EXP bonus intact.

Note: The reason why you’d have to go about it in a roundabout way instead of party-matching like step one is because the [Match 2 to 4 Players] button is disabled when you party queue.

You can still use the match 2 to 4 mode with a party, you just need to press the button before you join the queue.

It’s a really weird requirement, but it works lol.

Having to stand at the place where you are queuing for a dungeon was solved by blizzard back in 2008.

Make a dungeon finder, let people queue from anywhere.

Im the opposite I have more fun doing the quests and taking it slow than queuing into a dungeon and going ding ding ding ding ding ding. I guess it just depends on what you like. Every character I rush I immediately get bored with and the characters I take it slow I feel the excitement of the next level. The grind can be a bit slow sometimes though and I might pop some cookies and do a Siauli, then back to just questing and enjoying the world (which I think is pretty). If all you care about is how much exp you get per hour spent and are an efficiency calculator then yeah pop exp items, multiply, reset, enjoy getting points. I like taking it slow personally. If it gets to the point where all I care about is how fast I can get to max level in a game it probably means its time to quit that game for me as there really isn’t much of a game left atp if Im skipping that much of the game. And I guess that is what you ran into, its not the exp you don’t enjoy its the game itself.
