I think all of you have seen. I thank the Raspy tests and at least in my opinion not worth being up to Wiz 2 or 3 losing the chance to have or Pyro or Cryo with better skills compared to Wiz undoubtedly.

This is so weird that it might be a bug, tho. What’s the reason for only Earthquacke to have increased damage and a double hit to boot in?

I know you said the thing about buffing earth spells or turning enemies to lightning, but there is no context for Lethargy to do so. It’s also unpractical since EQ is the only earth spell and has moderate cooldown.

In another topic, I would like to know how Reflect Shield really works. If it only protects from basic attacks or actually mitigates damage equal to its damage, being the reason skills seems to pass through it. (because from PvP videos, Shield looks pretty underwhelming there)

The logical explanation is that the spell has been updated and the translation has not. And it should reason something like… Earth Quake when targeting a monster effected with Lethargy hits twice and does an extra 25% damage. Cause that is essentially what it’s doing.

Still not explaining why it doesn’t work for other skills.

Also, why there is no Lethargy icon on that boss? I know it is active by the glow, but the icon should be there showing how much time is left.

I don’t think it’s strange. They have a similar effect with Energy bolt.

Edit: It’s very possible that is the way they want to go with the Wizard skill philosophy. Create more interactions between them to draw more interest to the debuff line. You want the skill to be useful in more situations. Otherwise the Wizard is just going to ask why am I spending SP to debuff a normal mob that may not be particularly dangerous when I could just save my SP for exploding them and auto attack instead?

Further when you’re talking low levels the player is already auto attacking a LOT. That’s not as fun as using skills so why not make it fun and rewarding to use Lethargy… Now it makes you hit really hard you get big numbers multiple big ones and it looks cooler. Feels good. And is all around a better design.

Ohhhhh, that’s right. Skills also can be slash, stab and strike. Now it makes sense. Thanks!

About the shield, I will test it when the extended beta begins. I have an idea with the info you gave.

earthquake is strike damage and lethargy has an attribute that increses all strike damage on the enemy by up to 100% if its maxed. so not a bug

Earthquake is not strike type. It gets bonus damage even when Lethargy attribute is off. You would know if actually read more before posting, cause I also said it long ago.

Hello everyone!

I’m starting now and i Have a few questions.

I was looking for a build and I notice that some of them have sleep 10 or 15, and others don’t, instead they put reflect shield or lethargy.

My goel is only PvE AoE, and solo, if it’s possible.

And sorry for my english ^^’

Sleep at 15 gives better CC.

Shield at 15 gives a couple more blocks. Blocks are suppose to stop knockdown? Or used too? Don’t think it does now? You should probably look around but I have that dumb shield on and get knocked on my ass all the time. So it maybe a PvP only thing?

Just to point out that the only reason ele is is good at all is because of Frost Cloud…you weren’t even at that point yet. :smiley:
