I still didn’t fully downloaded the client(about 70%) then I opened my PC this afternoon and was shocked that my download is zero percent again! This is like my problem in dota2 it has got to do with them patching the game why can’t they just separate the patch from the old client or is that just I don’t know something to prevent this… anybody have a fix for this? Now I’m gonna wait again till tomorrow to complete this client. The client yesterday was 5.3GB, and this afternoon was 5.4GB so they updated the client.

Well of course I paused the download of the client before I closed my computer you retard LOL. Already done that many times. It was 3.8GB when I paused the download because I was out of the house all day and I’m alone.

Is there a reason you can’t finish the download now? I’m confused.
Or are you trying to and it keeps going back to 0%?
Hey brother, I fully understand you’re situation compared to other dickheads you might start to see in this forum that has nothing substantial to say. I was able to research you’re case. (I saw this on a steam forum:)
“Steam is a little stupid in its UI. If you download 75% of a game, stop the download, and then start it again, it resets the counter to 0% even though it only has to download 25% more of the game. Don’t be alarmed if the counter goes back to 0% - it did not delete all the progress it made.”
Which basically means, the counter was the only thing that actually reset on you’re download. So you were able to actually download 70% of the game file, the remaining will be resumed and once it reaches the 30% you’re download is complete. Hope this helps.

The game was patched today, 5.3GB to 5.4 GB. Now my problem is steam instead of separately downloading an update patch it downloaded the new updated client(5.4GB) and dumped my old download(5.3GB) so now I’m at zero percent again but smoothly downloading it although it will take me till tomorrow to fully download it.

Sorry it’ll take you so long to download it,but it may be for the best.It’s going to be a nightmare for anyone to get in right when the server opens up.

It is a problem ive noticed a lot of people having. If you close steam or pause the download mid way through it does some weird ■■■■ and will delete all your game files every time you try. You may have some problems playing the game later on warning you now.

It happened to me too! =)) I was updating my client yesterday. The file that needs to be downloaded was 1.7GB. I tried to pause my DL, When i got back after 9 hours, my patch went back to 0 and the file that needs to be downloaded became 1.8GB. Welp, just patch your client and enjoy ToS later. 
I hope we have the same solution!
