X player posts It’s too long to level, and I have to grind. Can I just click on an NPC to get to max level as soon as I create my character?

X player posts, The game doesn’t do more for me, all I want to do is kill stuff and let the game handle everything else.

X player hates it because it’s not like RO. (I see a lot of it stemming from RO but that is my opinion.)

X player complains about drop rates, wants it so it’s easy to get so everyone can get it.

Christ, I don’t typically complain about what others have to say, but what the hell is the point of playing a game at that point if you want everything to be done for you. You may as well download a bot program and leave it running while you’re out and about.

@Gregory_Gawaran I agree with everything. I don’t have a beta key and I only played the Korean beta for a few hours. But people seem to forget that this is closed beta 1. There’s going to be hundreds or even thousands of fixes before the games out.

It’s hard to satisfy every 5000 players. Heck if everyone can join the first CBT, just imagine how many threads will be created on how the game doesn’t satisfy their inner needs. I’m sure they could make up a trilogy.

Welcome to the era of the idle game. Truly worrisome times. For some reason, people LIKE having everything handed to them on a silver platter, fed to them, and in general not actually interacting with the game they’re “playing”.

That is part of the problem, developers trying to satisfy everyone. They need to find their core and build upon that. If not the game becomes another cookie cutter design.

Better the game be named Tree of Savior: Spoonfed Saga.

Developers are scared just because they thought that if they did what the community ask for, they won’t lose the customers. In reality, players would just abandon the game because it doesn’t suited them anymore. If the Dev tries to make the game even better, I agree but if they did it for the money, the game will fall.

Metathreads don’t solve anything, just increase the bickering. Though I agree, people are complaining as if the game has officially launched rather than making constructive feedback and suggestions in the appropriate sections of the forum.

If crybabies are going to to destroy this game… Im only going to blame people and not Devs… If this is the thing that turns MMO to shitness… then its the lazy people who are bombing MMO downs…

Quite the opposite, the developers have the right to simply say “no, this is how we want it done”. Bending over because people cry about something only puts you into an endless cycle.

Group Y is in an outrage because X is stronger than Y, group X is content so they’re being quiet and playing the game. Devs nerf X to satisfy Y, now Y is quietly playing the game as group X is crying up a storm. I’ve seen this cycle run games into the ground.

The perfect example was Planetside 2 and the outcry of Anti-air and Air, the game’s development was at a standstill for nearly a year because they were trying to make them both happy. Eventually by the time they decided that the community didn’t know what they wanted many people had already starting to leave due to the game’s stagnant content and development on planned features were suspended.

Or you have another version happen, they keep going with the complaints, change it to cater for the larger audience, the core players leave… things are good for a little while, new game comes out, the people who complained leave, core people are already gone, and the game disappears or changes business models and eventually gets forgotten. You can argue it many ways, but yeah I agree the developers do have a choice but they usually go with what the masses ask for.

These forums have been a crying shitfest since I joined.

  • I never played this game before, but let me speculate and tell you everything about the game… however turns out all my information is wrong. Let me bitch about said information and complain about it anyhow telling IMCGames how my speculations shouldn’t be in the game, and the game needs to be fixed.

DOESN’T STOP WHEN PEOPLE PLAY EITHER.

I’m glad the people who wanted this to be RO are leaving. Good riddens. The less crybabies, the better the community.

i don’t get the chance to play the game. so i have nothing to complain.
the only thing that worries me is the TOS community: there are too many crybabies and simple-minded omg!!!

I stream when I can, if there is anything specific you would like me to try out let me know! I am currently running swordsman heading to squire. I am level 3 Peltsast atm (however you spell that class! haha)

i agree totaly, i hate browser games and phone games, cuz you give one click and your char begin to do things alone, i think ToS will be a great game, i wish i could get one key from that ppl leaving the game just because they dont like or think its too difficult, better luck next time xD.

I haven’t planned for the game yet (since i can’t play anyway). But I’m quite interested in seeing cleric -priest route. I took a look at this route and it seems very useless…(as a attacker)
