My complains and my feedback for this game as a new player

This is what i have noticed as a new player, my character is only level 27 if i remember correctly:

Your servers are garbage: My ping is 180-200 i even have noticed that it goes as far as 333, REALLY?, im playing on NA server supposedly, tried other servers but it was even worse. Im from Mexico and i have played other games with NA servers and i get at max 100 ping which is tottally playable but here i just cant believe if im on a NA server i get 180-200-300 ping, thats just some shitty servers if i ever seen ones…

Serioisly EVEN THE FORUM has problems with this, to enter the god damn forum is a â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  problem, it never loads you have to try and TRY AND TRY AND TRY until it loads, that just says everything about your servers:

THEY SUCK.

Optimization : Terrible, how is possible that i go as low as 40 fps with my machine?, 16 gb ram, i7 4770k and gtx 970… really?, DYING LIGHT THE FOLLOWING runs 60 fps constantly and TOS dosent?.

Also at one point i got a hard crash on my entire computer by playing this game… like WHAT?, i have heard some skills crash the game, how did you released a game in such a bad state?, you realize this can damage peoples hardware?.

WHAAAAAT?

Gampelay: TOO EASY, i dont know if its because im on the starting areas but i havent been in risk to die at any point… the monsters dont even aggro or barely aggro… its liek playing easy mode all the time. Bosses die in 2 skills or 3 mostly… also the class progression is slow as ■■■■ i have to progress through 7 changes of class or ranks and i am still on the second rank… REALLY?, too slow progression and the content is too linear and boring, and its too damn easy like i said.

1 month later, you will have the same complains except the gameplay one.

that will become: magic and archer mob are unavoidable and have too much hp to kill.

The forums aren’t usually this bad.I think it’s situational.

Your other complaints are valid,except for the game play one. Play a good bit more before making a review concerning that,because it changes a lot.

Yeah, i hope so, because like i said im low level but thats what i have seen so far, which bores me, but i will play here and there, with the problem of the ping and the bad optimization…

  1. Servers are located in the east coast, I am having the 100+ ping in cali, won’t be any better in Mexico.

  2. Forums are laggy recently, probably have something to do with the amount of traffic after f2p and the potato servers.

  3. A lot of games have bad optimizations, nothing new here. move along.

  4. Commenting about gameplay when you barely scratched the surface. This is an anime style MMO, 99.99999% of anime style MMOs have very basic gameplay. Wouldn’t expect too much here.

Latency was great, til your kind joined. Just sayin. In a more proper way of answering you. My ping was awesome pre-F2P. Although I disagree with you on points, yes, their net-code is garbage. We already knew this over a month ago.

Like he said, all of these problems have been present since the launch. They have been working on it. We’ve seen slow and steady improvement in past month. Quest bugs have been fixed, new servers, better graphics configurations, etc. There are actual threads which help fix your FPS by tweaking the settings in user.xml

Anyway, stick a bit longer, maybe 3-6 months. If the improvements are a bit slow for you, then I suggest playing something else till they’ve improved enough.

While the presentation from the OP is poor, all his complaints are legit.

Game-play can still be argued to be fairly linear as there are little true side quest story lines. Stories are are still poorly written (Orsha side is much better), making people click through the dialogue box without reading, adding to the feeling of linearity.

Although compared to CBT there has been some improvement:

  • Orsha quests
  • Wings of vibora (monster hunting, map exploration)
  • collection completion
  • puzzle dungeons

There’s still significant deficiencies:

  • More in-depth stories please, we haven’t been told much about the world and how Medzio Deina has impacted the locals individually, besides the main quest chain.
  • independent side quest. I’d rather have a shorter main quest chain with a bunch of tangent side quests to tell better personal (short) stories.
  • Quest bosses without background stories need to be moved to side quests. Clicking on a world object (like a chest) to trigger a boss is a HUGE WASTE of storytelling opportunity. Each boss should have a story of it’s impact on the locals with the climax being the boss fight.
  • More interact-able world objects please. The world need to tell as much story as the NPC. Not just a pretty background drawing to stand on.
  • More indoor maps please, this will give us a glimpse of the lives of the locals.
  • Perhaps more open world dungeons. Ideally a player should have the option to level up independently without touching quests at all.

Monster is really too easy at lower levels, and artificially made too difficult in high levels by giving them stupid HP and damage numbers in compensation to a poor AI / monster behavior.

Level progression is actually fine compared to CBT1 LOL.

Well, im mostly concerned about the ping and the lack of optimization, if this 2 things get addressed then the game will become like 10 times better than what it is now, the gameplay

What i wanted to say yesterday but i coulnt because of the shitty forums is that the gameplay comes after the players can play the game properly.
