Everytime im running, my character keeps on teleporting back from where it came from… Sometimes im already attacking a monster, then its gonna teleport back 5meters away, something like that. Anyone else experience this?
This is commonly referred to as “rubberbanding.” And yes, I have been experiencing this.
i see, is there any solution to this? cuz ive been playing since cbt1 and this is the first time i encountered this.
I’m also having rubberbanding issues, and no there is no solution on our side. It’s a server side issue. But it’s important to report it so they know it’s happening.
I’ve tried restarting my computer, and I’ve also tried making a new character on the Orsha server instead of the Klaipeda server where my main is. But I still have rubberbanding issues and find the game unplayable.
Sadly no, this is completely server side tbh.
I also have this teleporting back effect after every 10 seconds of running. So i just thought it was just the server. But my sister also plays and when it was icbt2 i was playing with my Alienware 18 inch laptop but this time im playing with my new rig that i built verry recently. Im getting the teleporting effect while my sister playing with my Alienware does not get it. In fact when playing on the alienware its looks so much more smooth and less twitchy than my Rig. My Alienware is an i7 dont know which one and 2x GTX 770m SLI. While my rig is a i7 6700k with a GTX 980TI. There should be no way Alienware laptop could outperform my rig. I dont know why its happening to me and not her. We both plug in Ethernet as well so its not out internet connection issue. Im assuming its out hardware that is creating this teleport effect
hi mate i have the exact same probleme. My main computer wish is a beast keep getting this weird rubber band, but when i launch my really bad laptop i dont have it.
Did you ever find were the probleme was coming from ? it’s really killing me atm.
I would like to know aswell if there’s a solution to this problem.
Just got a new computer, like guigs a huge BEAST, and now I have this rubberband thingy. Everything was fine on my old computer, weird if it’s server related . . .
Yes, I’m having the same issue since the beginning.
Someone from the staff could say something?
Is there any reason for WHY this is happening? Is there any date to fix this?
Thx in advance.
Hi so let me start by i haven’t still found a solution well to be honnest i kinda gave up, i am playing now on my old computer wish is pretty sad but oh welp…
I can a 100% say that this rubber band is not a connection or server issue, since i tried to run the game on 3 computer at home and only my main super computer seems to have the problem.
I also tried every ■■■■ i could find on the internet to fix it, and tried every thing i could think of:
- uninstaled the game 2 times
- tried to force the game by nvidia panel to use my graf card
- put my screen from 144hz to 60hz
- turn on and of antivirus/firewall
- use the check game files on steam
- forced directX 12 on steam on launch
- tried booting the game in compatibility mode for windows 7
- tried changing the use file for high setting, and low settings
- tried high setting in game and low
- did of course block all the gold seller spam
And the list goes on. Weirdly enough the game worked well ONE time were i first tried to disable antivirus for launch, but it did never worked again. So i think there is a way to fix this but i just can’t seem to find it.
Maybe there is a pattern we can see together… lets cross check our specs. And if you ever find the solution please tell us. - Windows 10 (X64)
- Intel Core i7 3.40ghz
- NVIDIA geforce GTX 980
- 8go memory DDR4
- ASUSTek computer inc. G20CB Rev1.xx (mother board)
- Intel skylake / Intel skylake PCH (chipset)
- 144hz main screen / 60hz second screen (dual screen set up)
Thanks for the list guigs, I’m not alone that comfort me at least.
Tried everything aswell, can’t be a connection issue like you said, there must be a solution.
Sadly for me my old computer is not working anymore and frankly with this rubber band it’s just unplayable.
I guess I’m doomed, if someone finds ANYTHING, let us know.
bliz could you give me your computer spec so we can at leats try to find a pattern
Windows 10 (x64)
Intel Core i7 3.40ghz
Geforce GTX 980
16go DDR4
60hz main screen
I just found something, got a program called Gamefirst III by ROG installed on my machine, I can manage my bandwidth priority on my games with it, it seems to fix my problem.
I need to test it more.
OH so we both have a ROG gaming pc, we might be onto something, let me know about that lead.
Yep can confirm, It fixes everything 100%
I just got my computer yesterday so I was testing a bunch of things, I also had problems in matchmaking online on Street fighter 5, same kind of rubber banding, that’s when I knew it was about my config.
Now I can manage every games priority with Gamefirst, did the trick for me, let me know if it works for you aswell.
OH MY JESUS, you are my ■■■■■■■ savior, i too have that program (wish by the way is a shitty programme). And it did solve my problems. Oh well that very good. I hope more people get to see the answer
Glad I could help but to be honest you were the one giving me hope, I thought I was alone in this harsh world.
To be able to relate to someone else, it just pushed me to find a solution.
For everyone having Rubber band issues on a ROG gaming pc we find a way to fix it.
Seems I have the same problem as you guys!!! And I have ROG as well…
FIXED! working 100%!
thanks guys!
