Do Swell Left(and Right) Arm’s attributes increase both phys and magic atk by 3 per level? Or is it only for physical?
It doesnt mention magic atk, but could be a misstranslation. Only way to discover is to make a Thamaturge.
Then, in all fairness, they should need to learn to use the other weapons before they can equip them.
You mean Thaumaturges? Sure if Thaumaturges had an attribute for that the problem would be solved.
lol. No, not Thaumaturges.
I’m all down for a mage that wields melee weapons.
However, the pattern for other classes (ex. highlander for 2 handed swords, hoplite for 1 handed spear) is that there is a class that specifically permits a weapon’s use through attributes.
There ought be a class that allows mages access to some kind of weapon with the option to toggle off the ranged magic attack.
I actually wouldn’t be surprised if they have a Swordsman class that has some affinity for magic down the line…
If you look at Hoplite’s Attribute for Finestra, the damage boost is from INT.
And why the hell would a Swordsman have INT?
Maybe a hint at some option for later on.
The melee swing from sword or mace would actually help A LOT. Among the 4 starters I would rank the wizard last. The auto attack is too weak (single target, roots, slow attack speed) for the amount of time waiting on CD’s.
Well, at least it’s “understandable” that a wizard could channel some sort of energy through his hands and throw it, even without a staff.
But what about archers, who cannot use swords and stuff, but throw arrows bare hand with no bow equipped?
That’s just WEIRD!
make C auto-attack happen with any weapon!
Also please remove the “you may not use this yet” message while holding down C with a staff…
