Must have party supporter members

Oracle: Call Of Deities for mob summoning + Arcane energy buffing Sp and STA.

Peltast: Swash Buckling for Provoking enemies

Squire: Buffing Sp/Sp regen + Hp/Hp regen + Damage

Priest/Cleric: for buffs and Hp…revive.

What exactly is the point of this thread?

i guess for giving info?

Well, first of all this is a very VERY subjective thread. There are far more abilities spanning from all of the classes that can be just as helpful to a party, if not more helpful. For example, one could argue that a linker makes VERY good use of a party’s strengths.

You mention the oracle as if its the ONLY viable support class for the cleric, but paladin has barrier and resist elements which is EXTREMELY helpful in the upcoming dungeons where the adds and bosses do magic damage. Also even the druid has a spell that can LITERALLY shield the entire team. Taking no damage means you dont ever need to revive and also allows the dps to do what they need to do, this also means that HP regen is irrelevant.

Every class is useful and have their own way of support.

Yes literally every class in the game can contribute something helpful to the team, be you a pyromancer, barbarian (YES even the barbarian can help the team by lowering the defense of enemies, and their damage means that they can keep aggro on a boss), or a druid.

You forgot a lot my friend like Linker,Dievbirdys,Paladin,Sadhu,Kirvis,Thaumaturge,Centurion and probably more.Honestly I don’t see why he or she posted this.Make I see 0 point in this thread beside to inform us about people we should consider in a party. However, many people knows about this information and more but every one is useful in a party not only supporters.

Guess according to this list as a peltasta squire I’m going to be Mr.Popular

Realistically any combination of any classes will be effective, too many support and you’ll hit the buff cap anyway.

so we have 4 must have class
only 1 dps spot left now?

that´s why you need a krivis, for more-buffs-buff

So my party of a Squire, Peltasta, Orical, Piest and Krivis is just going to buff each other, taunt, then staff-wack our way to victory. Sounds painfully ineffective.

it wouldn’t be too bad given some of the skills and abilities of their previous class choices, however you’d still be far better off with only one or two supporting character with accompanying raw damage classes.

I don’t know i feel the defensive classes are meh as the game as built does not require tanking but i guess the taunts are good for mobbing at least.

Rank 6 Party
Party Leader: Barb -> Corsair (Pirate Party, Jolly Roger, Additional Phy DPS)
Members:

  • Pelt -> Squire (Tank/Mobber)
  • Barb -> Doppel (Phys DPS)
  • Priest -> Diev -> Oracle (Resu,Statue Buffs/Buffs)
  • Cryo -> Psycho -> Elem (CC/Mag DPS) or Pyro -> Sorc -> Necro (Burst Mag DPS) or Wiz -> Linker -> Necro (Mag DPS)

I dunno, any class is good but I find this a good party imo. Still, many possibilities. Just use Imagination.

Maybe not the most effective but check out this group of a squire and oracles. Not too shabby either and no need to run lol Three of them gain a level in that 30 minute video but it doesn’t show us where those people started so I guess we can take that worth a grain of salt.

Never the less, not too shabby.

no more CoD Scrolls so that will be hard now.

Patch #3:

Pardoner: Cannot create scrolls of the skills ‘Call of Deities’ and ‘Divine Might’ with Simony any more. (Double-checked translation and in-game. This is confirmed.)

Peltastas. Not because I’m biased, but because of swash buckling.

No love for Paladins?

Not stopping me from making one, though.

Must have? No
Improve Quality of life? Yes
Those mentioned classes are there to make life slightly less tedious. Can you make do without them? Sure, you can.

Any class is fine as long as you can find some sort of synergy with them. A must have for one class does not equal a must have for another class. Also, different objectives call for different team compositions. Not every situation will call for a oracles or etc.

No love for paladins? @Klareh
Nope, your just trying to find love in the wrong place. Try messing (as a melee monster) with a barrier paladin with an army of archers inside :D. “insert ranged fangirls screams”

To all those saying Paladins…

No. No love for Paladins. Unless they’re my pallies. So the question becomes, will you be my pally?

I’ll see myself out now. :sheep:
