It seems like no matter what class rankings I pick, almost skills
will be useless when I place a rifle on my character once I get muskeeter ranking.
Making so I will only be able to use 3 skills? 
it will depend on your build. but all musketeer skills though requires a rifle equiped. if you wish to use bow skills you can use weapon swap attribute.
also not all archer skills have weapon restrictions. for example swift step and kneeling shot can be used with any weapon equiped.
there are archer classes that have almost no weapon restrictions. these are:
Sapper R3
Hunter R3
Wugushi R4
Falconer* R6
- U can always weapon swap it’s a skill available to everyone. 2. rifles fires bullets not arrows.
Well technically, only 4 archer skills have the word " arrow " in it ( split arrow, time bomb arrow, spiral arrow, twin arrow) , every other skill is labeled “shot” so it does not make sense for musketeer to have all of these “shot” abilities disabled.
If you watch the G-Star trailer , you can see that the musketeers in the video are able to use previous archer skills
(oblique shot/ multi shot are not grayed out ) So it might just be that they have not enabled the skill animations to be compatible with guns yet and so the skills are disabled in ktest just like how dragoon skills on mounts were in the beginning.

Thanks for the picture, now i feel less worried about going archer & ranger 3.
If it is true then by all means. But I still prefer if them limit more illogical stuff like shooting an arrow skill from a rifle and encourage more weapon swapping. Even though we are playing a fantasy game some things just doesn’t feel right I think I’m not the only one that feels this way right?

I plan on making a build that goes for Quarrel Shooter.
I was worried that I would not be able to use other classes skills while using a rifle.
But now I feel a lot better, go go go musketeer!
