It’s rare that multi-boxing is considered a breech of the terms of service, since you’re actively playing all accounts it’s not under the same restrictions as say botting normally is. It’s exactly the same as playing on 2+ computers with the same keyboard.
I’ve talked with Blizzard employees on the issue before over multiboxing in WoW and Diablo and this was their consensus.

No to multi clienting! It’s not the same as opening single clients on individual computers. It’s definitely harder to control all the pcs at once than simply alt tabbing so it will discourage people from partying themselves… But if u have more than 1, go ahead…

there is no official statement (as I know) , but when I look what kind of skills some classes have, I would say they try their best to make many things possible that were a good reason in ro to multibox, so you dont need or dont have a valid reason to multiclient
The thing here is, blizzard games are pay to play or monthly subs, so yeah, they will encourage you to get more than one and play unless you use third party programs to automate tasks.
ToS will be Free so people could abuse multiboxing.
I remember playing Lineage 2 on private servers that allowed multiboxing, and Raid boss were pretty much soloed, because that one person had all support characters xD.
We will have to wait and see though and as @Masumasu said, in Ro was mostly used to lvl support priest or full str rebirth classes and other weaker or support classes.

Why someone would Multiclient on ToS?! It’s the most forever alone thing to do in a game MADE FOR you to know new ppl and play with them…

Centurion would be great for someone that wants to farm items/gold. As much as I’d love this to support my crafting addiction, there are too many people that’ll use it for negative purposes.
Another reason would be for people that want to cut gaming time so that they can have more job/classes sooner than other people.
On topic:
I’m against it. I enjoy soloing every now and then, but it would be better for the game and the community if everyone parties and works together. That’s the whole purpose of MMORPG’s and why they’re so fun to those that enjoy this genre.

As an example. WoW specifies multibox for unfair issues is ban but if you use it legal you can do it. you can farm with one account meanwhile you’re crafting with other. Its about skill. I used to play wow with 2 accounts both or leveling with three and never broke any ToS law.
And, ofcourse anyone who play bots or some unfair ■■■■ like this, multi boxing or not should be banned.
would you still consider a person having 4 computers = 4 character in a conscript party with a centurion kinda like multi clienting? (My case)
