Moving too fast?

Bug Description : always
token user, buffed with swift steps, game always puts me back like 2 seconds where i was because i am “moving too fast”

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. buff with swift steps
  2. run
  3. gets relocated back to area 2 seconds where i was

That sounds like rubber banding. It could be that the lag is so bad it cannot register the speed at which you move after the buff.

P.S. It happens ever so often to my swordsman character whenever I start dashing too.

A friend of mine and me have been experimenting this problem today after the maintenance, we both play with gamepad but we are not token users. This is the first day we notice about this. (Im sorry for my english I hope this makes sense).

Experiencing the same problem since yesterday, just moving around normally (no speed buffs, no enchantments, no token) and it displays this message:

Also, I’m using the keyboard, so it’s not just mouse related.

Yeah getting this message on my cata. For those who say its rubberbanding, i’m pretty sure it isn’t. I mean sure, when you lag you also get this message but it makes no sense that my cata is getting more of this msg than any other of my alt.

There’s also the fact that when I don’t use trot, i don’t get prompt as much, which makes the whole point of playing a cata kinda moot. Only started having this problem after 2 maintenance ago. i don’t mind lag, honestly, but getting told about an error constantly sort of reminds you how broken this game is.

It used to happen sometimes before, but never as bad as since last maintenance.
