First i want to say that i really like playing in mouse mode due to the fact that i can individually select targets with the mouse so keyboard mode isn’t an option for me.
With that said, I find mouse mode to still be a bit clunky even after the recent update. Two things that i would like to change or have to option to change:
- AA should be in the direction of your mouse like how all your skills work and not in the direction of your character. It is really strange to me why they made it the way it is right now. It makes gameplay feel unnatural because im use to aiming my skills with my mouse but if i want to AA i need to turn my character around to face the target. This just doesn’t make any sense.
- Im sure all mouse users has ran into this problem before. Your trying to move to a certain location so you click on that location but theres a mob in the way and you end up attacking the mob instead. This is very annoying especially in dungeons when a cleric drops safely wall and you want to stand on it but the fat ass boss is in the way. So wouldn’t it be better to separate attack and movement? ie attack with left click move with right click.
I know some people play in mouse mode but use the keyboard for movement and mouse for aiming and AA. But even then if you miss click your target and end up clicking on the floor your character will move instead which can be really bad in pve and pvp as it ■■■■■ up your positioning.
Thats all i have to say. Sorry if this has already been said but i feel like these are some really simple changes that IMC can make to make mouse mode not feel so wonky.
Oh and also i know this probably belongs in the suggestion thread but lets face it no one reads that thread.
TLDL:AA in direction of mouse, separate AA and movement to two different buttons.
