I need a bit of help deciding on which Rank 6 Class to build into my idea of an mounted PvE DPS/Off-Tank.
During the last CBT i barely went to Cata C3 and I didn’t like it at all except the mobility. Other than Rush didn’t I really feel any of the other damage skills really that good.
If it wasn’t for Dragoon which looks promising and the changes that you can use most skills from the other classes mounted I would simply replace Cata with Hoplite C3 and go Doppelsöldner for Rank 6 leading into Dragoon.
My plan for both Builds is a high STR with abit of DEX and CON approach with minimal alterations to account for Finestra differences between the two builds.
But enough exposition, these are my two Builds I’m breaking my head over:
Doppelsöldner C1:
vs.
Hoplite C3:
It comes down to the following things:
Doppelsöldner
- ASPD Buff in form of Deeds of Valor
- Gae Bulg/Cyclone Combo (fidly to use because of the need to unmount)
- Loot/EXP Buff
Hoplite
- Full mounted(all skills useable mounted)
- no CD Spam skill in form of Spearthrow
- Rank 15 Finestra/Stabbing
I can life with the unmounting, I had to in CBT. It’s actually more about Deeds of Valor rank 5 and Cyclone being good enough of a reason to beat the added benefit of 5 Ranks more in Finestra/Stabbing with the addition of no CD spearthrow … that is the question.
