Tree of Savior Forum

Most useful function on the forums

This function has saved me so many tedious arguments.

Tip #? : After you finish writing your post, consider hitting the cancel link and abandoning your post before you need to deal with pointless arguments where neither side ever comes to an agreement.
(regardless of whatever you think of your opinion, their mistakes… or anything, really.)

That low-key rant, though. Bravo…

Discouraging discussions out of being too lazy to keep it up and thus avoiding any sort of exposure IMC could get as to what the players wishes/preferences/ect. are is pretty stupid.

Even if neither side is going to budge, the fact that there is an active discussion about it in the first place means that it’s important enough for people to be willing to argue about.

The word is ‘lazy’, which you used previously.
I do agree that bringing up your opinion and views are necessary… but I’ll probably not be the first to say that quite a lot of people could do with the realisation to pause and think before they post what they do.

(goes ahead and highlights the word consider on first thread so that the meaning is a bit more obvious)

I highly doubt many people will actually be able to pull off the point of thinking before they post, anyway, since it’s ingrained and there’s so little worry for one’s image as a stranger on a forum.

(looks at this thread…)
Yeah… that’s probably isn’t the best way to go about it.
People will argue about just about anything.

There are cases where discussions keep circling along the same argument chain multiple times. The “abandon post” function comes very handy in those.
