This is my opinion solely. and one founded on every waking hour playing before the changes and after the changes, and then back to the original way.
First. We as a community loved the money we were receiving from the original prices. Correlating that to the price of a full repair (costing little) we all felt like we were making money constantly. Pushing that extra money into attributes felt like we were advancing our character at a steady (non stagnant) pace. That’s wonderful right? We all felt good right? Well right before the change there were videos floating around forums showing ppl will millions of gold… their “Learn Immediately” attributes were up to lvl 90+ costing 200k a pop or higher. Only a VERY small percentage of ppl watched these videos. That means a SIGNIFICANT portion of the population has no clue this is happening to some but not the majority. A lot of people that were stagnant with money to begin with (meaning not focused on saving their money, IE dumping their money into their attributes or potions were already hard up on money) were not understanding why you would make this increase in repair cost and decrease in item/recipe vendor prices. They did cry. I use cry loosely because really they were just making their dislike of the changes known. Immediately. Understandably for them. You cant really argue their very valid point regardless if you dont like how constructive their spam crying was. But heres the kicker… the honest truth. Once you get used to the new ratios, you understand why its like that. For all lvls, and all aspects of the game. The ppl that knew about those attribute lvl 90 characters, knew that they wouldnt beable to sustain that bad beat anymore. Once you got used to the system it felt right. Now we come full circle to the reverting back to old way. Now im making money CRAZY money… and im about to get to those 90 attribute ppl with very little time invested. That is why I feel like we should revert back to your decision into KCBT ways. It makes sense from a stand back and look at the game outside of the box sort of way.
