Most in demand wizard class in PvE

I have no idea what build to recommend my friend since I am a swordsman and I play solo all the times. Unlike me, my friend likes being wizard/mage in games and always want to be needed in parties. I always see people in chat shouting and looking for Chrono. Is Chrono the most in demand class in the wizard tree?

Will this build do? Wizard > Cyromancer > Linker c2 > Chronomancer c3
For now I have no idea which stat and skill to put. It would really be great if you guys could give me some advice. Thank you.

There are several options right there.

For instance, your actual idea Wiz>Cryo(whatever really)>Linker>Chrono could be the most wanted in PT grind sessions. Although, that’s it.

There are several other options, such as Wiz>Cryo3>Chrono3 for late game (280lv.) and still looked for grinders. (This one is recommended for your friend)

Back in your build, you should go full CON since you’re no longer able to do any DPS. Skills, basically level up anything you find usefull at last:

  • Joint Penality link
  • Hagman’s Knot link
  • Haste Chrono
  • Quicken Chrono

CryoChrono or your suggested build. Cant do anything wrong with that. But its a full support (or CC) build without that much damage!

Top tier Wiz builds imo:

  • Classic DD : Wiz3>Ele3>WL - 100~CON rest INT, or 1:1CON/INT or full CON (depends on tastes, investment & planning on pvp or not)

  • CC PvP : Wiz>Cryo1>Kino3>Cryo3 - Full CON

  • Support : Wiz>Cryo3>Chrono3 - Full CON

There are plenty of other viable builds though. It depends also if you guys will focus on PvE or PvP.

Thank you for all the help guys I’ll try to formulate a build tomorrow. I forgot to mention that she doesn’t like PvP. There I edited the title.
