It’s too easy for whispers to go unnoticed. This is a problem when I’ve been playing for a while and notice far too late that one of my friends messaged me almost an hour ago about leveling with them. I think the UI needs something, like a message counter on the whisper’s tab or something in the corner letting you know someone has messaged you when you have the chat box turned off. Maybe it could pop back up when you receive a whisper? It could even be something as simple as an audible chime that plays when you receive a whisper. I’m not entirely certain as to how to explain what I have in mind or the reason why I’m having trouble keeping track of private messages, but I have missed out on chatting with a friend in game due to not knowing they were whispering me.
