More Attributes added to TOSbase

Credits to Flash, assuming he’s the one who did it.
Just looking through the Swordsman tree, I can see a few notable attributes to mention. I’ll just list the ones which are likely to have an impact on builds:

Swordsman

  • Double Slash: Critical Rate increases
Critical Rate of skill [Double Slash] increases by 5%
    Thoughts: Not bad at all

  • Restrain: Duration
Duration time of stun of skill [Restrain] will be increased by 1 sec per Attribute level.

  • Restrain: Slow
The enemy in stun status due to [Restrain] effects will be in Slow after Stun gets removed. Slow will be increased by 3 secs per Attribute level.
Thoughts: This is going to be OP and become a good reason for going Swordsman circle 3, especially for PVP

Highlander

  • Catar Stroke : Remove Knockback
Pushing power of [Catar Stroke] becomes 0. (You will not be pushed if this attribute is ON.)
    Thoughts: Nice for grinding

  • Skull Swing: Can’t jump
Enemy cannot jump when attacked with [Skull Swing].
Thoughts: This is purely for PVP, might become useful.

Hoplite

  • Finestra: Splash
Range attack rate increases by 3 while [Finestra] is activated, Evasion decrease rate is doubled.
Thoughts: Very nice buff for Hoplites

  • Long Stride: Reduce the Cool down Time
Cool down time of [Long Stride] will be decreased by 10 seconds.
    Thoughts: More jumping, more fun

  • Pierce: Bleed
The enemy that is attacked by [Pierce] will be in [Bleeding] for 6 seconds with 2% probability. Bleeding damage will be decided based on Physical ATK.
Thoughts: More reason to pick up this skill now.

  • Synchro Thrusting: Stab
The damages that will be dealt by [Synchro Thrusting] will decrease by 10% per Attribute level and the amount of damages that will be incurred will increase by 10%.
Thoughts: Needs a better translation I guess, this sounds like it makes the skill worse.

  • Thrower: Bound
The enemy that was attacked by [Thrower] will be in Bound status for 7 secs. The rate increases by 15% per Attribute level.
Thoughts: Now you can nail enemies in place for 7 seconds or more using Spear Throw. Huge boost to Hoplite’s kit if you are willing to risk losing your spear.

Barbarian

  • Frenzy: Maintain the overlap
Overlap of [Frenzy] will maintain while attacking the other enemy, but Max overlap will be reduced by half.
Thoughts: Ok, this means you can stack Frenzy by hitting multiple enemies but it’ll only be half the stacks of the original Frenzy if you decide to pick this attribute up. Still worth it I think, if you can get half Frenzy stacks to work on a group of enemies.

  • Savagery: Critical occurrence
Critical rate of the skill, [Savagery] will increase by 5% per Attribute level.
Thoughts: Ok, now this will make the skill a lot more useful, especially if using a spear as your weapon.

Cataphract

  • Earth Wave: Earth Property
Endow Earth Property to the attacks of the skill [Earth Wave]
Thoughts: I don’t play Wizard, maybe wizards players can explain whether this will be better or worse for the skill?

  • Steed Charge: Critical Attack
[Steed Charge] will be applied as Critical to the enemy in Slow status.
Thoughts: If you’ve got skills from other classes that can slow, you can make full use of this as a big hit after applying slow

Squire

  • Arrest: Decrease DEF
While an enemy is in [Arrest], Physical DEF will decrease by 10% per Attribute level.
Thoughts: This might be important for bosses, 5 attribute levels = 50% DEF decrease?

  • Repair: Service
When you are repairing an equipment with [Repair], it could be done with the twice the amount of excess repairing amount for 5% probability.
Thoughts: Chance of “critting” on repairs, pretty nice.

Corsair

  • Dagger Mastery
Incurs additional 20 damages per Attribute level whenever attack from an enemy’s back with dagger.
Thoughts: Makes the class more like an assassin, positioning yourself behind your target will become important

  • Iron Hook: Chain
Throw [Iron Hook] to maximum 3 enemies repeatitively. While defeating multiple enemies at once, you can’t use [Keelhauling].
Thoughts: So you can hold 3 enemies together but you can’t pull them all? Needs clarification

Centurion
(So yeah, Centurion actually has attributes now)

  • Crane Wing: Change Formation
Changing the shape of [Crane Wing] Formation. It will be the shape that will lure enemies more deep inside.
Thoughts: So I’m imagining it’ll change from a V shape to more of a U shape?

  • Phalanx : Slowdown
When an enemy’s attack gets blocked while in [Phalanx] position, the enemy will fall into Slowdown. Duration of Slowdown
Thoughts: Nice, any enemies within melee range who touches your formation will get slowed

  • Schiltron: Healing Time
When you are in [Schiltron] region, HP recovery time of the squad members will be reduced by 2 sec per Attribute level.
Thoughts: Really nice, essentially a HP recovery formation.

  • Testudo: Adapted to move
When you are in [Testudo] position, Movement Speed of your squad members will decrease by 5% per Attribute level.
Thoughts: I assume this is a translation error and it decreases the movement speed penalty, allowing you to move faster using this increased defense formation.

Overall thoughts:

This is a great effort by IMC to buff all classes through attributes, instead of nerfing them to oblivion.
This allows for a LOT more viable builds. It’ll certainly keep a lot of us busy I can imagine!

Are these completely new attributes???

It seems they added even more than that… If u look at swordsman attributes there are new Passive skills… Cloth master, Leather Mastery : Dexterity, Plate Mastery : Defence, Weapon Swap…

Can you post a link to where youre getting this info from? Im getting excited ahha

These attributes were available in the iCBT.

The Plate/Leather/Cloth mastery and the Weapon Swap mastery are available to all classes. But Weapon Swap only becomes available to you at Rank 2.

And the Plate and Cloth Mastery are outdated if what the new patch states is true. The Mdef from Cloth and the Pdef from Plate are gone now. They only give SP and HP respectively now.

Click on each class and scroll down

Yeah I knew they were available in the iCBT but it wasn’t on the TOSbase until today.
The only thing lacking is that some attributes require circle 2 or 3. Hopefully Flash or someone adds that on the database soon so people don’t make builds based on attributes for higher circles that are not available in their builds

There’s definitely a ton more things which have unknown information.

Like you said, we need to list which circle you can obtain attributes, and I would also appreciate:

  • Max level for Attributes
  • Max level for Skills (IIRC, some skills don’t go up to 15, but I forgot which)
  • How many charges each skill has (and the CD of skills when not all charges are used up)
  • More Bunnies
  • Accurate changes when skills are upgraded, e.g. number of hits increase.
  • More information on the debuffs that skills give, like I really wanna know if Skull Swing decreases Magic DEF or not still :c
  • Compendium of 100% completed maps.
  • I think someone is working on a bestiary which uses the mob’s ingame sprite already.

AND OF COURSE, more details where items are obtained which aren’t mob drops. It’s real shame that they weren’t able to datamine what recipes drop from what either, which I presume is because the Adventure Log for showing each mob also refuses to list recipes…

I’d really like to help, but I cannot be Flash’s magical Clairvoyance Oracle… Still, I hope people are willing to volunteer for the job. I just hope they are competent humans.

Says caterphract can use dual handed spear? now is this 2 spears or 1 two handed spears? You can equip [Dual handed spear] type weapon. is what it says,

EDIT… scratch that, its a 1 two handed spear, sry for the confusion.

Depending on what attribute your target has.
Enemies weak to Earth element will receive much more damage, enemies resistant to it will shrug it off.
Since it’s an attribute, it’s quite flexible (if it can be turned off, that is).

In the Steparu Cannel have a video of your Monk, she have a level 54 attribute for one skill. It’s hard to say the attribute level cap =(

Regarding all Enhance Attributes, once we determine the cap for one skill, we may be able to generalise it. We were already able to get enough money for 50+ Attribute levels for Enhance in the iCBT by grinding off of level 70 ~ 80 mobs, and as you should know, the money incurred by selling higher level equips/recipes increases. Granted, testing the Enhance cap at 100 will still be a pain, but then again, we’re free to throw our money away at the end of the CBT, so I think someone will test this, or someone already has in KR CBT.

Anyway, that’s just Enhance. Most attributes have caps of 1, 3 or 5. It’s pretty easy to max all of the ones with additional effects. The ones that ARE hard to master are Enhance Attributes for buffs, with learning times and high caps.

Also…

Synchro Thrusting: Stab
The damages that will be dealt by [Synchro
Thrusting] will decrease by 10% per Attribute level and the amount of
damages that will be incurred will increase by 10%.
Thoughts: Needs a better translation I guess, this sounds like it makes the skill worse.

They mean that the damage which is originally split between Stab & Hit, becomes -10% less Hit and 10% more Stab. So less reliant on Shield damage (which comes from its PDEF I presume) and more on the Spear ATK.

Pierce: Bleed
The enemy that is attacked by [Pierce] will be in
[Bleeding] for 6 seconds with 2% probability. Bleeding damage will be
decided based on Physical ATK.
Thoughts: More reason to pick up this skill now.

Sadly, it caps out at 5.

That’s all I know. Bye.

What I don’t understand is that some of the “older” attributes didn’t exist in icbt… or just a new wild guess… are they taught by another npc?

Like I didn’t see Sacrament: Enhance or Monstrance: Evasion…

And btw it’s funny but they just removed the defences of armor masteries for Clerics in Kcbt.

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

I just added Max Level and required Circle to the attribute lists on the class pages. Attribute Database still in development

I think Rank 2 classes had Weapon Swap on Circle 1. ( and Rank 1 classes had it on Circle 2 )

Thank you, almighty one!
It might be a bit of an ask, but is it possible to add buff duration to buff skills as well? That will mean the difference between an awesome buff and a useless buff.

@ Luculyia - Unfortunately that still makes Synchro Thrusting pretty bad, Hoplites have enough Stab already from their auto attacks. Pierce is still better than Synchro Thrusting I think.

@Xenobius - I don’t think you can turn attributes “off” once you learn it, it sort of changes the characteristics of the attack indefinitely so it is an important decision to make…

Pretty sure that nerf is just for clerics.

You should be able to turn Active Attributes on and off as you want.

Oh cool, that makes it definitely worthwhile to learn then.
