Going into an “established” server will also mean there is an economy going already, a base of players that will be able to help you/give tips to you, and groups that will love to pick up new members, etc etc…
I guess what I’m trying to say is that there are people will will want to go to an “established” server VS a “new” server.
The reverse is also true.
What I was trying to establish is that there is really no “Founders Only” Servers
I get the idea of the founders pack but 3 months for free to play is ridiculously long. I wonder what kind of genius IMC staff made the decision? I wouldn’t mind for the Founders Pack really as servers need a lot of money to maintain but given the idea is pretty dumb really.
Let’s say IMC really do need money, why not do a Kickstarter for it, including various merchandise and items in which depends on your donation. But I guess that’s pretty late now considering it’s going into iOBT.
If IMC are trying to be Nexon 2.0, they are doing a really hell of a good job at it.

I’ll be buying for sure because I planned to support them from the beginning buying TP and such anyway.
(& 50 dollars is reasonable for me compared to other games asking for 100$+ for founder – though it’s not necessarily a fair price for other countries with bad conversion rates…)
The 3 months is extreme though & gives me cause to worry. I don’t really want to end up trapped on a low population server just because I’m willing to support them. – I have a hard time seeing them actually make adjustments even in the face of this outcry unfortunately, but I would be happy if they’d consider adjusting the time span of the early access…

The game is dead. March 15th the day of despair.
Doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. I’ll be buying because I was planning on supporting the game anyway, and honestly I’d rather be on a server with likeminded people who are enthusiastic about the game and willing to support the devs than a f2p server riddled with bots.
I definitely would like to support the game, and will.
But this argument makes no sense:
What’s to say bots won’t appear after 3 months? This is definitely not a solution to bot prevention. Besides, they already have many more restrictions already in place for bot prevention, it’s a blatant lie that they posted that these founder packs are for bot prevention.
Supporting the game is fine. (I saved up a load of cash for this.)
Not supporting this badly-thought out, game-hurting founders plan with 3 months of what is basically a slow death for the game.

Do you seriously think that bots won’t go into the game because it has a paywall? FFXIV has bots, WoW has bots, and those are subscription based titles with a price tag on the initial product on top of that. Any and all games have some sort of cheating mechanism in it regardless of business model. There is simply “less” of them when the game has some sort of paywall to get over. Doesn’t stop them.
There’s a difference between supporting the game and supporting this terrible cancerous bussiness practice.

What I actually said was f2p servers are more likely to have bots due to the low cost of entry. Bot makers are far less likely to risk $50 than $0. That’s pretty basic logic.

As for f2p servers, no one said the founder server would be founder exclusive after 3 months, so yes we can and will still have bots.
They HAVE taken actions to hurt their game.
