MONSTER CARDS: IMC please read before implementing. Thanks!

Hello IMC games!

Im very hyped about the monster cards that would customized the characters to its great potential!
However as I’ve searched the attributes of the Monster cards it seems pretty imbalance if players would abuse it on PVP.

“You can equip different cards and receive their diverse types of
benefits at once, or you can equip multiples of the same card and focus on a single effect that you want to multiply.

[Minotaur Card] When dealing physical damage, there’s a [★]% chance to inflict the stun debuff for 3 seconds.

-So if you have a 7pcs of 10 star Minotour Card at Rank 7 (7 slots of card)
you’ll get a 70% of Stunning a target? I’m sure QS C3(META CLASS of iTOS) will love to abuse this card and just locked down enemies with Running shot bash.

Maybe a limitation of stacking the same Monster Cards would solve this abuse of power. A limitation of 2 or 3 SAME Monster Cards will be good I think :slight_smile:

If the chance stack diminishing (each card count for a separated roll instead of adding to the end chance) then 7 cards will give you 52% chance to stun.

It’s not 70% but still insane though.

I think the best way to implement this is to limit the amount of the same card you can equip, 3-4 seems like a good number

Here is an example of how OP will be the outcome if you stack the same cards and abuse it.

In this Video, he has 4 Chapparition Card, as you can see before he use PP on Icewall he uses SP potion to activate the effect of the card.

[Chapparition Card] Increases magic attack power by [★]% for 10 seconds when using an SP Potion.

That’s also the power of wiz c3 + rune caster. Quick cast + rune of ice = 450% ice damage lol

Yes I know, just imagine its a world boss and that boss seems to be melt easy. Good combo of skills and card but having 4 Chapparition card with 10 star = 40% magic attack :confused:

The system is being implemented, changes can happen, they gave an example of how it could be the letter and not that it is going to be so at the time of its release.

what’s the point of the fireball at that position, does it set off the ice shards as well?

I think it will add more splash effect on the ice wall if you use PP on a fireball.

At the rate this game is going, it will die before we get that patch. There’s still major bugs and lag issues that still hasn’t been fixed. All I see is the population of real players getting lower and lower while the population of bots getting higher and higher.
