Hello everyone, im going to take monk in circle 5 but dont know if take monkc2 will be a good idea since energy blast is really weak compared to carnivory of druid, and double punch dmg dont scale well after lvl5.and druid can get the defensive skill that makes him immune for some time, what u guys think which is the best choice ?
If you have str build then monk. If you have int build then druid if you want to focus on druid’s spells. If you have Dievdirbys then maybe druid if you want to utilize carve more. Or you could just try whichever out and see. It doesn’t matter is only beta.
ill do the str build being priest 3 > monk, but why not a druid str ? on skill simulators i dont see carnivory getting any damage from INT.
Well, it should. Either it scales with P Attack or M Attack. If it does not miss, most likely it is a M Attack, and INT definitely affects that.

You can’t compare energy blast to carnivory just by the numbers alone. The biggest difference between the two is that energy blast does aoe while carnivory only hits single target. Carnivory is basically a stronger cure with a huge area.
Carnivory can do tons of damage to bosses while energy blast can destroy packs of mobs. One down side of carnivory during boss fight is that because the area is so huge, it is inevitable that your carnivory hits will be wasted on traps sometimes(carnivory damages everything in the area at the same time.)
Well it does not scale with main stats but magic attacks still should get damage from matk…
On the other hand as a STR type you can still utilize transformations so there is nothing wrong with STR druids imo…if I won’t like Army Chaplain(because we don’t know anything about it yet XD) I’ll actually consider to pick Druid as STR Priest.
carnivory isn’t a single target o.o, it will hit all mobs at same time on the aoe. and energy blast is a channeling skill soh u cant do anything while casting, but the main question is the other skills on monk2 are worth of it ?
You can move while channeling energy blast, which allows you to evade enemies
but u cant attack and the dmg is very low to be useful to farm or use in a boss instead of double punch all the time on a boss.
I used energy blast as my first attack for field and dungeon boss. It has good range.
Then you have to consider that energy blast has its properties. Use it on the right enemy and you’ll find the damage good.
I think I didn’t say it clearly. Carnivory is cast in an AOE but it only hits single target.
For example at level 2 carnivory hits 24 times. If there are 3 mobs in the aoe area, each mob will be hit 8 times. If there are 6 mobs in the area, each mob will be hit 4 times.
So even though carnivory looks like it can do alot more damage than energy blast on a single target, but the more mobs you are targeting, the better energy blast becomes.
Just got to druid and i have to agree with Araara on this.
Carnivory acts as krivis1’s zaibas. It hits 22-30 times but for each time it only hits one enemy. It has no innate splash and no attribute to gain splash either. It does not hit flying either, but does scale with magic attack. It is of very little use for strength builds tbh.
Transform/shape change is also i a really weak position atm, so go monkc2.
