Which is better?
Cleric > Cleric > Dievdirby > Dievdirby > Monk > Monk > Monk
or
Cleric > Priest > Priest > Priest > Monk > Monk > Monk
Basically Priest VS Dievdirby in Monk path.

The one where you play the game and find out for yourself build path.
That’s rather rude.
@go_hans_go I would go with Priest myself. However it really depends on if you want to be carving statues or casting spells.
My advice is to pick the one that appeals to you most.
whoa thats the worst, you yourself should know its not a good idea to go into the game blind. It’s not even good idea to do that just for variety’s sake.
@go_hans_go I’d say Cleric2>Priest2>Monk3 just for better cleric abilities.
Unless stone skin is important to you, but it won’t scale well without spr, so its semi-useless to you. You’d be getting priest for the buffs and revive spells.
I tried reading Priest skills and check some forum posts, from what I’ve gathered, its currently the most used path, but they say that the priest path would have a hard time leveling than the deivdirby path.
What are the main spells that clerics take when going the monk path? priests path is followed for blessing and sacrament right?
For cleric skills
lv 10 heal
lv 9/10 safety wall
lv 5 divine might
The rest is up to you. Some people would place 1 point in fade for not getting killed purposes
I see… okay then. I guess its time to finalize my build. I was supposed to go musket… but then I tried ping checking, ended up with 300+… Since people say AA reliant classes are bad with high ping, I’ve decided to have monk as my back up as people say that the double punch skill is treated as your “new auto attack” and that skills are better with high ping. Thank you all for your help! really appreciated it.
Honestly I’m pretty sure on the cleric and priest skills, but for monk my decisions on based on what I heard for all the skills.
Palm strike for the aoe, double punch b/c its your main spammable skill, hand knife is slow so I grabbed it for the armor break, one inch for the silence and a little bit of damage.
You can probly take out one inch 3 points and leave it at 1, I just like the skill, and throw the rest into double punch for the xtra dmage.
Double punch shouldn’t be entirely maxed out? What do you suggest for the stats? concentrated on str > dex? or priority dex > str?
I heard dex is important for the accuracy, I wish I could redirect the perfect words from one of these posts about whats necessary to not miss. Str is the priority though. Monk class and its all physical damage. So 80-90 dex and the rest str.
Edit:I’m a pvp freak so I may have mixed up the necessary stats. I would do a little research on dex before you start putting in stats on the 29th. The skill points I’m sure on though.
Here’s the safer path with one inch fixed so you at least have it, but dont have minimal damage in double punch.
That depends on how your preference
If im going for c3 monk, then yes. Lv 15 Double punch is a must and Lv 10 one inch punch is highly suggested, for the damage and increase in DOT. You can sacrifice few points in palm strike you get them.
As for stats, Str - dex - con. How you wish to distribute it is up to you. As I have heard, it seems going dex build is…not a good idea.
One inch over the aoe?
Oh btw, got any ideas for stats? mine right now is still 90 dex and the rest str.
Missing isn’t fun.
I see… hmm I’ll try to fix the build up tomorrow… Its already 2am here xD 4 more days til founders day. This is getting me even more hyped up. Thanks for the help again guys.
The only annoying part of palm strike is the knockback, which definitely pissed off your party members. Bleeding is not powerful, as it relies on enemies’ defense.
One inch punch can hit only 3 enemies…unless you’re equipping something special. But its DOT deals constant damage to every enemy it hits.
As for stats…a lot of str, decent con and mininum dex for hit rate.
But that’s my take on the stat.
Looks like crit rate formula was changed in today’s patch.
Btw, I think ppl ahould be asking more about skills than builds. Builds are mostly subjective, while most ppl don’t know how alot of the game’s skills works, especially with all the hidden effects running around.
