Monk 3 Skills Questions

I am new to this Game & was wondering related to Monks Skills (i’m planning on making one if i get a key),
-I am curious of this Skills effects

1.) How does 1 Inch Punches “continous damage” works? is it DOT or do you continue attack for a couple of seconds(stationary)?

2.) Does Palm Strike produce Knockback effect (on players) or is it only because the monster died in the video?

3.) Does Hand Knife “fly and fall effects (the bounce)” works on players?

-sorry for this questions, I was playing WoW before & players have a little resistance (lower durations) to players CC’s
-those info for me is really useful for PVP’s so hope you can answer this and thanx

  1. 1 Inch Punch deals a single hit which deals damage, and applies the ‘1 Inch Punch’ debuff. The debuff deals damage every second for 5 seconds. With 1 Inch Punch’s Silence attribute, it also can apply ‘Silence’ for 5 seconds, which prevents enemies from casting skills or attacking for the duration.

  2. Palm Strike does knockback, works for both players and enemies. You can see for yourself here. Palm Strike has a Bleed attribute which causes Palm Strike to inflict the ‘Bleed’ debuff for 8 (+ attribute level) seconds. Bleed does Pierce damage every 2 seconds. This attribute provides Palm Strike with a 100% chance to cause bleeding. Very useful.

  3. The knock up and bounce from Hand Knife works on players as well. Hand Knife also has an attribute which has provides a chance to apply Armor Break (-40% P.Def) for 5 seconds when using Hand Knife.

The Silence and Bleed debuffs sometimes have a chance to be resisted by enemies and players, so they are not always a 100% chance when using the skills, even if the attribute gives the skill a 100% chance to inflict a debuff.

Why the knockback is delayed? It has something to do with latency?

Thanx a Lot, i Reaally need those info, with Palm Strike & Hand Knife those effect will be reallly a lifesaver & setting for combos

It’s latency, otherwise it would be instant.

Hand knife also has nice synergy with Deprotected Zone… With Hand knife attribute u have 25% change to break armor with -40% P.Def + Deprotected Zone can decrease enemy defense per 8 monster…

That sinergy is now ever more enjoyable: SPR flat adjusts the inicial debuff of D.Zone(And Priest’s Monstrance). It’s even greater if you’re using a sword and have the D.Zone’s atrribute. :wink:
