So, I want to make the tankiest, aggro-pulling peltasta possible.

Would this be ideal?

I know that people don’t recommend going full tank due to requiring parties and having trouble finding them, but I don’t care. I want to absorb as much damage as possible and pull rooms of mobs onto me. The issue that I am having now is that magic damage is killing my HP. I am going to go cloth armor, but I am almost tempted to also dump stats into SPR, but I don’t know how effective that will be.

And HP regen is almost impossible without sitting at a fire every so-often. Pumping CON increases your HP pool so much more than your regen, meaning the more HP you get, the longer you need to regen it. Pots don’t scale either, so they are quite pointless unless I dump a lot of money per run into them.

So any tips or tricks would be great.

Going full tank is really the only time I could see tossing a few points into spr but you might want to look into accessories. Crafted rings and necklaces are pretty high on mag res so that could bridge a few points but I really wouldnt go much more than 10 spr because you’re probably not going to burn much mana and if you do med mana pots have you covered in 4sec.

As far as hp regen we’re all having that issue, beg clerks in your area for a quick heal, most don’t mind.

Edit:: On your build - I really like what you’re going for but you’re going to be crying at some boss rush sections later on. Get a crafted wep and upgrade it as best you can for damage, npc weps are garbage, dropped weps are meh depending on if you’re a lucky person, but crafted is the way to go for gimmick builds.

Well, the problem that I see is that I can tank as much physical damage as needed, but the magical damage is eating me alive. So if I pump spirit and con equally, will that make a dent in the damage taken by magic? or will it be a slight 20-40% reduction w/ full reduc gear? (yeah I know, I will have more SP than I would know what to do with)

Crying about boss rush sections why? I don’t know too much about that.

Thanks for the tip on crafted weps… so far I am only level 40 and I just got a ‘rare’ 1h sword that I have been upgrading.

But yeah, I do see myself partying with priests the majority of the time. I just want to explore this niche a bit.

Con is going to be more useful the deeper you pool into it doubled by staying with clerks but for SPR its really just a matter of how many points of damage are you willing to sacrifice for extra magic defense. Max out your gear as best you can towards balancing your phys and mag defense I have 2 junk bangles giving me a whopping +20 mag def and thats actually all I’ve needed through lvl 55 with 6 spr.
