Like many others, I came from Ragnarok, where we had the Crusaders and the infamous Crux Magnum, an AOE powerful attack made for defensive tankers, specialized in mobbing enemies.
In Tree of Savior, though, I couldn’t find any interesting AOE attack that had a good synergy with defensive builds. My intention is to build a character focused on defense / tanking / mobbing with a few strong AOE skills, but I hadn’t found that yet.
I do not intend to find a Crusader in ToS, because the two games are completely different from each other, but I was hoping I could still build a defensive character focused on the use of powerful AOE attacks instead of a frail DPS or a non-damaging tank.
What are your inputs on AOE skills for swordsman classes? Is there a specific class with a good AOE skill that works nicely to shield-users?
For the defense / tanking / mobbing, I’m going with Peltasta (didn’t decide how many ranks yet), but for the AOE damage part, I’m still unsure what’s the best course.
