MMO To play while whaiting for ToS

Hi everyone, so like the title say, while you whaiting for ToS open beta (international, for the ppl who dont play in KToS), what are you playing now till IMC release ToS?

Im playing RO1, in a classic server pre renewal. but i barely log in lately.

To answer your question, after a taste of ToS, everything else taste dull for me, be it MMO, Multiplayer or Single Player, lately i only expend some minutes on Candy Crush Soda lol.

Could always do Blade & Soul if you like the WoW style grinding… It was big for a few weeks. It’s like WoW + Tekken. Just need good ping or you wont have good DPS. Personally though, I’d sooner go play Xcom 2, Duelyst, or catch up on shows or movies while we sit around waiting.

Oh Street Fighter V just released it’s alpha for purchase… So there is that…

I just got rank 3 in league of emperors <3

(It’s a “pockie-ninja”-like game, you manange your heroes -equip and spells- and they fight an automatic battle)

I don’t think it really counts as an MMO,but the only other thing I’ve been playing is Game of Dice.

If anyone knows what that is or plays, feel free to add me! IGN: MelonCakey :sunglasses:

MMOs have been stale recently. I’d say your choices would fall under… World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, ARK, Warframe, Diablo 3 / Path of Exile. Outside of that, I can’t think of anything that isn’t a clone of something I mentioned. Also, those have somewhat okay communities to get into I feel. However, Single player games are always way to sink some time if there are games you haven’t played through. Though, that also usually includes a purchase somewhere down the line.

I’ve been really waiting for Tree of Savior myself. I feel it has a set up for a great community situation which excites me most. A lot of games fail in that area.

Lets just hope all these community doesn’t give up in the end cause the game takes too long for it to be up and able to be play by all of us,

That’s only going to be an issue for those who can’t wait for a product to be polished to the point of decent playability. However, I think the whole Korean release has shook the hornets nest a little bit, however, I don’t touch things Nexon has tainted anymore, I’m happy waiting for IMC to release their own game on their own schedule

I find funny when people say the same thing as you, BnS was announced something around 5 years ago and community was formed, the game came to light on CH 2 years later (if im not mistaken) as CBT and only a handful could play (not sure if their first CBT had any western player), 3 years later it came to Western market and there was people hyped about it and it seem to be doing well, despite imo i find it very boring and generic.

ToS is the same thing, lots of hyped people, me included, we had CBT faster than BnS and people start saying things like the community will die out and what not.

It is really funny.

For sure I dont mind waiting 5 years than lesser but end up with a shitty not enjoyable game, error and bug everywhere. :stuck_out_tongue:

That is the point on the waiting, the better polished the game the better it will be received on market, but some people don’t think that far and only want to play, and i am sure these people will get tired at some point or be disappointed at something, talk bad about the game and leave to the next one, like an animal parasite that suck it dry and move to the next host.

I don’t think you should bother trying to get invested into an MMO at this point, since the game is highly likely to be at OBT/Release here within 3 months. Maybe an online card game like Hearthstone or Yu-Gi-Oh (Devpro server), or an offline RPG like Persona 3/4 / Disgaea.

Just stick to Candy Crush and you are safe lol. I did and i am fine so far, other than that read some manga/LN or watch some movies.

Yea, thats why i dont log in RO anymore. Im playing RoboCraft and some times Dont Starve Toghether. those two are pretty casual, and dope! XD

Playing Royal Quest (PvPvE) for now… im still waiting for iToS

I play Blade and Soul, but in my opinion, ToS is still better, also there’re lag issues because i’m from SEA and they don’t have a server for SEA, fortunately the exchange of gold to cash is quite profitable.

I used to play DnD through roll20 with my friends. MTGO a little bit too. But still have “hunger” of grinding within me, like it was in RO and R2.

I try to play Blade and Soul, but that 3d rpgs just look the same for me, even this “action”.

Yeah I was going to say BnS.

Something to do while we wait for ToS at least. I won’t get overly invested into the title but it’s at a point where it hardly takes any effort to cap (hit 45 cap before I even finished the story quest line and all I did were side quests + story quests and a couple dailies o.o).

The fun part about it though is the combat. Even though I’m years behind the vets I still managed to learn KFM well enough to get gold rank (nothing to boast over, just the “best of the worst” pvp ranks lol). That kind of fast paced “arcade” style fighting is surprisingly in-depth and rewarding to learn.

In short, it’s a sub-par mmorpg but a pretty solid tekken mmo if you’re into fighting games lol

Because of how little time it takes to get capped it will never be “too late” to join. The skill-ceiling is immensely high which is amazing. One of those things “easy to learn difficult to master”- you can hit cap in no time but how good you are will be determined by how quickly you pick up the flow of combat.

I thought I’d hate it but I was surprised. I’ll drop it like a worn-out hoe once ToS comes out though =) But until then I’ll keep workin’ it.

Could always change pace and do something like TF2 for free. Or Rust/Ark if you have a few bucks to blow, either of which should keep your attention long enough perhaps =)

Rocket League, most fun i’ve had in years, even though i have no idea what i’m doing in this game lol.
