Missing TP after buying from TP trader

Please fill in as much as you can :

Date and Time : 7:10 am EDT

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Mouse

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) : Klaipeda

Bug Description : I had 153 available TP and 5 free TP. I went ahead to buy the enchant scroll (8TP) from the TP trader in town. I was left with 145 TP and 0 free TP after the transaction. The game had essentially charged me 11 TP for the enchant scroll. On other days, it will use up the free 5 TP and then deduct another 3 TP from my available TP. Yea, it’s not a lot of TP lost but it could add up in the long run for a lot of people.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Wait until the free TP reaches 5.
  2. Buying enchant scroll from TP trader.

Screenshots / Video :
Don’t really have a screenshot of it happening before the transaction as I wasn’t expecting a bug.

That total TP number INCLUDES your free tp. you were charged 8.

What is up with your Math you guys?
153+5=158 TP total before buying the enchant scroll
at the normal price of 8 TP, he should have been left with 150 TP.
He was left with 145 TP, which means he was charged an additional 5 TP.
So in total he was charged 13 TP, because 8+5=13 and because 158-145=13
You got all sidetracked by details like free TP or bought TP.
In simple terms IMC owes him back 5 TP for overcharging. Clearly the system erased the free TP without really counting them in the transaction. However I think without a screenshot IMC is less likely to do anything about it. Best advice I can give is to screenshot all your transactions just in case. Best of luck!

That depends where he was looking. Some screens display the free tp added with the rest some have displayed separate. We have to know what screen he was looking at.

Edit: i have never been charged the wrong amount im pretty sure he was just looking at one of the spots where it is summed.

Alright but you can’t ignore what was stated, even if I go about it this way
Available TP: Had 153 - Left 145 = Used 8
Free TP: Had 5 - Left 0 = Used 5
Thus 8 available TP was spent And 5 free TP was spent.

No because if he was looking at one of the sum screens that means he had

5 free + 148 purchased = 153 total

Then bought a scroll

153 - 8 = 145 Tp

I am damn sure he just wasn’t sure of what he was looking at.

Oh I just got your point. :joy: Silly me. I guess I’m good in calculations but my deductive skills are nowhere near yours. Thx for explaining it in Math ways, I’d probably still be scratching my head if you wouldn’t have done that. :yum:

Oh oops, sorry for my math. It was supposed to be 5+8 TP used to buy the enchant scroll. I had just finished an exam paper yesterday, brain almost dead. Hmm, but what Eillice say does make sense. I am gonna try it again.

Edit: Yeah I think the math checks out. I started with 160TP from the founder’s pack 3. Being left with 145 TP means that I had bought 5 enchant scrolls discounted with the free 5 TP. Sorry guys, false alarm.
