It was in steam announcements and on the front page in a huge scrolling picture. It has also been talked about in shout chat and in my missions and dungeons ive ben doing all week on klaipeda. How the fk did people miss it ?

You had 10 days notice to transfer. If you didn’t submit your request via ticket before maintenance today then you won’t be eligible for a transfer.
As far as we know this will be the only time transfers will be done as imc doesn’t want to make it a paid feature.
So in essence yes. You didn’t stay up to date with announcements so you missed out on your transfer. You only have yourself to blame.

I believe it was Julie who said something to that effect when they were debating whether to create regional servers.
Then when imc decided to go ahead with regional servers the words “One time transfer” was used.
was it “we will never make than an option” or was it “we are not interested in that option at this time?”
just because they don’t want to do it now doesn’t mean it will never happen in the future.
notice how they first said…
“we will not be having regional servers.”
“we will not be having a SA server.”
“we will not be allowing non-token 1:1 trading”
…and yet all of these (and probably lots more than i can’t think of off the top of my head) are now happening.
simply assume that -every- statement about what an MMO is or is not going to do includes the phrase “at this time” because -everything- is subject to change, depending on how it all turns out after it goes into play.
