Minimum pricing is locking up items in the market, Please read IMC

Alright, I get a maximum price limit, that makes sense, but why a minimum price?

Here is what happens, some person decides to sell something on the market that hasn’t been sold yet, or hasn’t determined the min/max pricing yet, and this person posts it for a very high price. Or, a gold seller finds a mat that hasn’t had it’s min/max decided yet and puts it up for a high price to sell to customer right?

Do this enough, and the minimum pricing is now really high, and everyone else is FORCED to post it at that price. Let’s take Fedimian Shield for example. I literally can’t post it for less than 20000 silver, and who is going to buy that recipe for 20K?

Nobody

It’s the same for Dilgele, it’s the same for Amber, these items are locked in the market because nobody will buy them, because the minimum price is too high (kind of ironic, right?) It is stopping the buying and selling of certain items, forcing people to go to other methods. Just look at shout chat, you see people trading Dilgele for talts and hp pots right? Why not just buy from market? Because it’s way over inflated.

Solution? Take out the minimum price. There is literally no benefit of having a minimum price in the market place, it makes no sense to have it, unless there is some good reason to have it that I don’t know about. RMT’s cant abuse a minimum price.

Honestly, even though it’s a problem now, it won’t be in 2-3 months due to inflation anyways. The price ceiling, however, will be quite a problem.

I think the price ceiling is a much bigger problem. The vast majority of items affected by inflated price floors are materials, and can be easily traded via talts anyway. On the other hand, there is no reasonable way around price ceilings, unless you have 38490384093 talts, or you’re lucky enough to have gear the seller is willing to trade for.

ceiling is already a massive problem.

Don’t know, the whole system seems kind of buggy at the moment… even the max price — there are 1%-drop orange recipes randomly having a 100-200k sell price-cap. (Hard to believe anyone was ever putting them up for that low.)

It’s a big problem for me. I can’t sell anything on market. :cold_sweat:

praying it’s randomly fixed after these 24 hrs…
