“this is the minimal damage i can do, so any damage i do will be equal or higher than that”
but actually this other phrase would still need to be true
“this is my maximum damage i can do, so any damage i do will be equal or lower than that”
conclusion:
the fitting solution is that “your damage will always be between your minimum and maximum attack”, and having a higher minimum attack would only mean it is now your maximum attack XD

Y, but this shouldn’t work like that. There is a reason it’s called minimum attack, so actually, it should be never less than that.
and there is a reason it’s called maximum atack, so actaully, it should never be higher than that.
That’s not how it works.
If your minimum attack exceeds your maximum, you simply get rid of the damage range altogether and will ONLY be doing damage according to the value shown for your minimum attack. No RNG.
and explain to me why it’s not as:

in the end it’s all the same, it’ll only be according to what the programmer felt like doing, which the more reasonable would be fitting the damage between your minimum and maximum.
unless you’re saying that they programmed the way you said, but considering this OP was asking how it would work, i’m considering none of us know what they decided XD
No I mean, what I said IS how it works.
I’m not guessing here. If your minimum is higher than your maximum you will always hit your minimum no matter what.
