Miko Priest Build

Dear wise folks ,
Im new here and I would like to ask for your opinion regarding this build.

Cler 2 > Diev 3 > Miko 1 > Priest 2

I am a newbie, and I havent reach end game yet.
I am a healer, n always a healer ,

Im currently R6 Cler2Diev3Miko1. Initially i was planning for the very popular build of Diev3>Miko1>PD2. But then a friend suggest me to go for Priest 2 instead of PD2 . since most people / pty neeeeed priest so much in endgame. and pty need healer with priest (with ability to ress) rather than just a healer.

Honestly idk . i havent reach endgame. I barely see ppl die tho.
What u guys think ? Please lemme hear ur suggestion.

Go with PD2.

Priest is either C1 or C3, and usually if you don’t go C3 is only for Ress, it’s not really that bad but picking it instead of PD2 is going to hurt you a lot since PD2 brings so much more than Priest C2, specially since you went Diev C3 you’re focused in INT.

Nope… Or only if you plan to make Priest2 at rank 8, ok. But Priest is not C1/C3 only, stop saying that on every class, it’s not true.

For OP, if you want to do this build, you need a party/guild, you will never do it solo with that kind of build (or it will take a lot of time). It’s up to you on this point.

this is very crucial on ET. But aside from that, not really.
Even cleric C2 does the job well.

you might want answer first
what of class endgame you want to be?
what will you provide to your party?

i doubt it’s crucial when you can just trans your armor + accessories to hit 4k mdef/def.

Which even sol miki hits you 1. No one is dying or going to die anywhere. Esp with austrine + meltis combo gimmick.

Priest is just for people who are casual and running solmiki without armor overhaul O_o…

For ET 1-20. everything is a joke now. A Grynas set with yellow + aspersion allows you to TANK every physical damage inside it. So investing on accessories to hit 2.2k mdef will ensure no one die in 1-20.

Priest in the nutshell as of flat defense mechanics > pretty useless.
This will only change if they implement scaling % defense which will bring back priest’s usefulness, because people will die. So you have to rebuff/ress LEL.

As of now priest is really in a extremely bad state.

was it really that giving much impact after defense patch over there?
like people rerolling priest even mostly for support build…

hmm… I was thinking if reset class will come, I will reset other but seeing this might change my mind again

You see, to be honest, I really dislike support classes build but priest(even on circle 3, all of their skills are support with exception exorcism)

yes that’s the issue. The defense patch impact is huge…

This days. There’s a huge tons of us just running et 1-20 with just a sage.
Only stages where you need heals on objective like 12 will require a cleric for easier approach. It’s doable even without it though.

As for 20 and up pretty much what i said in a nutshell. Austrine + meltis and high pdef + mdef will cheese through all stage. Normally the issue is your dps have low m defenses. So you have to some what cover magic damage with zone control etc.

…and therefore making cleric is better to turn DPS classes and to be beaten in support by linker

this is really troubling… DPS cleric is not my style…
I never know what IMC changed everytime…
it would be different story if reset class is not 14 days…

yup sadly that’s the case now. resetted my priest to diev variant from priest chap pd … due to it… it’s pretty saddening to see priest turn into this state

Don’t make the same mistake I made and go priest. It is completely and utterly useless. Take PD and have fun with the game. I have the same build you do and I have priest1 going Taoist.

And whoever told you priest 2 instead of pd 2 don’t listen to anything he says.
