trying to build one, any help maybe. thx
cleric2 priest2 ----- taoist1.
the rest is up to you
mine is c2p2pally3tao1diev1 for et support
cl2-pr2-diev2-miko-tao-inq
I did C2>Priest2>Diev1>Oracle1>Kabba1>Taoist1>Plague1 full CON.
Base build is always C2>Priest2>X>X>X>X>Taoist you can fill the blank with the classes you like or classes that will suit better you ET party composition.
Good choices:
Taoist 2 for partys with Elememe/ground tiles builds to help kill flying enemies with Upper Level skill. Plus maxed Taoist skills.
Diev1: 20% cooldown reduction helps a lot
Kabba1: Ein Sof will help a lot when you have mana hungry characters in your Party.
Oracle1: Max SP/STA increase, Magic Circles removal, Weak anti-CC, +100 evasion bonus from Forecast Attribute.
Plague1: The best anti-CC full time, Healing Factor, help spread some debuffs
Miko: Help the damage dealing Physical melee characters with Kagura Dance
Inquisitor1: Malleus debuff is good for support, also Breaking Wheel have synergy with some classes.
Paladin 3: Barrier are great for floors you need to protect something and
Sanctuary holy damage increase is not bad either. Plus you have some usefull debuffs/buffs.
Diev 3: Maxed SP statue is good and you also have some secs invunerability for boss floors, silence tree and other plus like having some damage if you are SPR build with Owls.
Priest3: If you are SPR build you can relly in their buffs to help the party, Priest2 is enough but maxed buffs isn’t bad.
Chaplain: If you have auto atk build it will help a little, but chaplain lacks supportive skills, cappela isn’t very usefull now.
Cleric3: You won’t need that many heals but it’s cool if you want to wear cleric c3 outfit or are using semi-DPS build, heal bombs deals a lot of damage.
Krivis3: Aukuras is great now and Melstis can help party members with some combos, but this is better in Taoist2 builds that is focused in damage. I would recommend C2>Priest2>Krivis3>Taoist2 build if you intend to do some damage and support too.
Oracle3: Have some uses, if you want to be afk shop this build is also decent for ET.
That’s wrong, the 100 evasion is a basic effect, so it’s on the scrolls, too(that’s why I use them on my Kabba3 for challenge mode&raid).
The only effects Forecast does have via attributes is increased duration (up to 10 mins instead of 5) and up to 5% chance to nullify incoming attacks while Forecast is active.
About the build:
If you want to build full support, don’t include
Inquisitor: bad support, the skills are mainly about dealing damage.
Malleus Maleficarum is a flat damage boost based on the matk of the enemy, so it’s not worth the investment of an extra Rank
Breaking Wheel is good if you have a Swordsman or Cleric to spread physical attack skills, but useless for magic Clerics, Wizards and most Archers (Rogue/Hackapella might be able to utilize the skill)
Kabbalist:
worst support if only C1, Merkabah is now useless at C1 without the petrification attribute.
Ein Sof is also useless, it doesn’t last long enough for HP-/healing boost and the SP recovery is only useful if the other party member has a huge SP pool to refill (i.e. a high amount of SPR), otherwise drinking potions will be more effective than using your Ein Sof once every 60 seconds( not to forget there are so many items you can use to recover SP, e.g. the Crystal Mine lot 2 compressed crystals, NPC potions, Alchemist lvl 15 potions, Keista potions, the premium 20% potions,etc.).
Reduce level and Revenged Sevenfold are ineffective in PVE.
Thats right, my bad. It’s 5% nullify chance on the atribute;
Ein Sof is also useless,
I don’t think so, I’ve alredy finished my solmiki set, but I did with a friend Doppel and he couldn’t keep his SP full time even when using 2 potions and I was there to help when both potions was on CD.
Note: He used to use Keistas potions before but it was too much work to do uphill daily, also we had SP/SP recov foods before entering the tower. Some classes are just too mana hungry and now on rank 9 it’s even worse.
Inquisitor: bad support, the skills are mainly about dealing damage.
Malleus Maleficarum is a flat damage boost based on the matk of the enemy, so it’s not worth the investment of an extra Rank
I am not an expert on Inquisitor but the damage increase on boss monsters affected by Malleus seems expressive.
Wheel have combo with IceWall too, not everything are about damage dealing, that help a lot breaking things on ET floors that requires that.
what about the stat, go full cons or some int.
Hi, what is making taoist so good at support?
@therhay mentioned taoist2 is good at making ground spells levitate. But other than that, taoist seems more like an offensive build, especially with krivis.
How is this build for full support? Full SPR. https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#411777ifhh.1a243a5561.152f315a6975.11354455.153545.6158118a95a5
Malleus Maleficarum is a good skill to boost damage for the entire party. Breaking wheel is also really good when the party has melee dps. It extends the reach their skills are able to hit. Imo it is definitely worth the investment if one likes this type of support.
Support comes in all sorts of flavors, it isn’t just about boosting stats and damage only. If the class like inquisitor is able to boost the party’s efficiency by enabling them to dispatch enemies faster by increasing their damage and reach, the class can be considered as one of the candidates for support.
Players take taoists for 2 of their skills. Darksight and Stormcalling.
The way ET is designed, at every 4th floor the players will have to survive for 5mins while gathering orbs/points/spirits. Having a way to “fade” the entire party out for a full 5mins makes that floor run a rest stop, where players can leave their stations to have a quick coffee break. :3
Stormcalling is good for its bonus damage to physical. Un/fortunately both skills are available at C1 hence for support builds Taoist C2 isn’t really that needed unless the player wants to maximise the time stormcalling is active.
I have exactly this one. Though I would like to keep it simple for you.
Get the traditional Cryo3Chrono3Sage, and pick Sorc 1 for rank 9 for cat buffs.
Thanks for the answer. So let me ask you this, the melee atk 50% boost attribute of storm calling. Is the duration based on charm duration or storm duration? In other word, does storm calling needs to be maxed?
And seems like dark sight lv1 is enough since duration is 60s whereas cooldown is 36s?
The 50% melee boost only lasts storm duration (7 seconds at lv 5) and not the charm duration.
However you would want to max Storm Calling for its own damage.
Do you want to cast the skill 5 times or once and forget?
*you can have at level 4 + divine might.
Well i mean if its for ET, the 5 minutes survive thing, of course cast and forget. But for regular PvE (dungeon, grinding…etc) i think 1 is ok? Is darksight a stationary spell? Also do people get exposed when taking actions? (Like how fade works)
Also, can someone check out my build above and let me know any fixes? Thanks.
My currenct sup build is a Cleric2>Priest3>Miko>Plage Doctor>Taoist>Chaplain. Full spr.
If Oracle C1 wasn’t nerfed, I would go for it instead of PD. IMO BloodLetting is now better then the oracle class itseld and now i can even give healing factor to the dps or a low hp player/bad geared one .
Why chaplain? 20char
If you gonna use this build on ET I would recommend always going C2>Priest2>X>X>X>X>Taoist. You can take Diev3>Miko of course but I would reccomend going full CON instead of SPR, SPR will boost only your owls damage and thats not your role, you need to survive and be able to support them.
Ok thanks.
Well it is not only for ET. Its for more casual PvE. I think dievdirbys works well in challenge mode since mobs come to you, thus stationary buff with long duration should be good.
That being said, should i still go full CON? Or full INT for a bit of damage from hamaya and taoist skills?
360 spr will translate to 18*3 con with Enchanter’s shop. I wouldn’t to invest any con in a pve cleric and tbh every one should have Squire slave for camp buff.
