I’m a noob at ToS and I’m ok with that. I expect to be flamed and laughed at as I l2p.
As my Wizard hits level 3, I am thrilled with my new power! Missiles rock! Or so I thought…
Then I meet some unique people along my quests of killing “x” number of monsters and collecting “x” number of their fingers.
Some of the more memorable people I have met are “xhfdsaiuyie” and “mnlkjhfsuoiwq” and even “jorejwr984jnmdsa”.
They all are so absorbed into shooting arrows or banging hammers on mobs that they completely ignore me. Despite my repeated requests as to how the heck to pronounce their names or what country they’re from or even just a friendly duel because I miss using a skill on anything that moves…these players are devoted! They will attack anything that moves! Clearly they are what moves this game forward!
While I wasn’t rushing to 240, I was having fun and seriously considering spending real money in an effort to support the game for current support and future content. After logging in and out for a week, on every North American channel available, and seeing key players like “jfoiweyuoiewq” on every log in, I’ve conceded that I am simply not devoted enough to have fun playing this game against such awesome algorithms.
Flame away or ignore, but there’s a real problem brewing for the “under” end game content. I don’t mind dealing with the occasional few, but when I enter an area and see 4+ “hdsahlkyhuewy” players…there’s a problem.
